Does anyone know if antifreeze can be used in the yong hang air compressor I just bought one looking for alternative cooling agent
I've been looking for chemlube 501 or nuvair for mine and the chemlube is 20 bucks shipping. Even on Amazon prime. HUH??? Nope!!!Bought Chemlube 751 off ebay,19.50 a quart and 18.39 for shipping.Dang pricey but it's good for 3 oil changes, will be enough for about a year and a half.I'm ok with it,got just over 6 hours on the Heng so far.
I fill an 88 cf bottle darned near ever day. Sometimes two. A quart of oil doesn't last long. LOL!I wonder if they know that charging more for shipping than it cost thru usps is a federal crime. Knife

Way cheaper and I'd put it against any other top tier lubricant. I bought other lubes from them so I picked up free shipping and have an account with them so that helps in keep price down.
People have enlarged the hole, I don't think it's a big deal. There is a drop-in replacement that fits exactly supposedly. There is also a way to make the existing ones read Fahrenheit. I'm tempted to try it.https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/alternate-temp-guage-for-yong-heng-compressor/"If you have a little experience tinkering, ALL of the Centigrade thermometers that ship with our compressors can be switched from C to F. I've taken apart my thermometer to get to the circuit board, and while I was in there I found there's a pin labeled "F" for Fahrenheit, and if you short that pin to the ground pin, the board will display temps in F instead of C.
