Safe Chamber Indicator

When calling the range cold, most range safety officers/match directors want some indication that your rifle/pistol chamber is empty. For bolt action rifles and pistols this is not a problem. Similar for break barrel actions. Open the bolt or pop open the action and stick a flag in the chamber or barrel...
For side lever actions as well as most under barrel actions this may not be practical, especially if you are transporting your rifle on a cart at an FT match (I just built one for myself). I speak specifically about my TX200. I normally keep the cocking arm out of battery when not firing and in storage and that would be sufficient for me if I was running the range and/or match. I have seen some shooters inter-twine colorful zip-ties in the adjustment side wheel of their scopes to appease the safety officers. The compression tube on my TX is steel so I thought why not use a magnetic flag of some sort to satisfy the safety concerns? I am not much of a builder but I did come up with something that might work.
