I suspect these are mostly old stock; the box and scope on mine were still sealed and bagged, but the copyright on the cards for warrantee and registration was 2010. Online, most everybody else lists these as "discontinued".

However, it is looking nice enough. I haven't mounted it yet, but the view is fine. AO bell is stiff (old lube?), but I think I'll try a drop or two of silicone oil and see if it works smoother in a bit. Near focus is about 5 yards--good for those rare times when something pops up closer than usual!

Indeed! No problem with me, though my post does sound like old was a disadvantage. In this case, just the lube is suffering. I should have added that I like what I bought . I couldn't get one used for that price!

I just got mine in the mail and slapped it on a RWS 94 .22 and got her pretty close to zoned in. Last time she went out she got 5 Squirrels!

I received mine on Friday and installed it on my RWS 52 .  I used the RWS droop mount and couldn't be anymore pleased . Easy to dial in . No soda can is safe within 50 yards .

Arrived today. Bigger than I expected. Looking through the scope appears crisp and mildots easy to see. A question. On the ao bell, before the yardage markings there is an M and a Y . What is that supposed to be?

I received mine not 30 minutes ago, so far I am very impressed with the glass very clear and the AO very smooth. I have a 50yrd range in the back yard and all my targets are crisp and clear thru all the settings.  *(&^ I like it so much already I am going to order another one after posting this, I will give a report on the sighting in once I mount it. Arrived today. Bigger than I expected.

That was the 1 thing that impressed me.  I did not expect a BIG scope like that, but I don't mind it.  It's not heavier than other 1" full-sized scopes I have, and definitely less heavy than my 30mm scopes, but the length is certainly there, and resembles my 44mm and 50mm (1") scopes in weight and length.

As far as clarity and brightness the 2.5-10x42 that I got I think is pretty average and on par with other low-priced scopes, but still a good bang for the buck.  I can't complain much for $28.  I get a darker than usual sight when it's cloudy, and the mildots get harder to see.  This scope desperately needs sunlight.  That's pretty much my only gripe - brightness is kind of below average.  Could be my scope, and not others', don't know.

LOL, I did the same think kinda. I ordered another one after mine survived 500+ pellets on a magnum springer.  Didn't need it but for $28 why not have a spare.

I already bought one back when the deals first came out and like the scope a lot and have had no issues with it so far. Just wish I had bought a 6x24 also when they were still in stock.

Bereli is who fills the order on Amazon.  I just ordered another one that I don't need, hard to beat for 25 bucks.  I put one on a Diana 34 and it's holding up so far.

When I opened the link that festis77 provided it came up with a window to join mailing list and gave the code "10off" for the discount. Not sure if it will work without joining mailing list but give it a try and see.
