I bought 3 of the 6-24x scopes. I opened one and check how close they focus at 24x. 13 yards is sharp and in focus. I'm glad because that's the distnace in my basement range where I do pellet testing. Thanks for the heads up on the deal Jmars!Taso
Question: my current rings on my Crosman NP arent high enough to fit the 42mm so....Do you recommend a one peice, 2-piece, or dovetail to picatinny conversion for my current rings? All are around $10-12 bucks on Amazon and all account for a stop pin. My brain is on Sunday mode and incapable of analyzing things today. Thanks!
Which one did you get? I ordered the smaller 10x. Should be here tomorrow. Is it me or is Amazon getting slow at shipping? Harry

HarryHello Harry,Also mine took longer (about 5 days) from Amazon, as did another order of my wife's that took a week (with Prime), so YES Amazon is getting a little slower. (I guess it takes time to dig ouot of the profits!!! )Cheers
So...my constant desire to tinker with stuff has me itching to do something destructive...After mounting my new scope last night I realized that my new one and my previous BSA adjustable scope have what may be a set screw on the power adjustment ring in the perfect position for a throw lever or cat tail. I did some research and don't see any throw levers out there that seem to be a replacement screw, only throw levers that surround the whole ring. Would it be possible to just replace that small screw with a longer one and some sort of spacer to make a throw lever? I found multiple people on the interwebs asking this same question, but the only responses out there were "don't mess with things you don't understand, you'll just break stuff and you're an idiot". I get that, but it doesn't seem that this question is actually answered anywhere online that I could find. Also, it seems unlikely to me that manufacturers would place these in a perfect position without ever being pointed down without it being purposefully thought out.Has anyone ever tried this and what was your result. I'm happy yo take criticism too, this isn't the first time I've had "brilliant" ideas that resulting in something being ruined.
You guys are really enablers. I've resisted this sale since it was posted but I finally cracked and ordered 1 of each scope. Just couldn't pass em up any longer for this price. I do have a new rifle arriving soon and will see how the 24x scope works on one of my long range varmint PBers that need a scope Jeff
Not that $2 makes much of a difference, back to sale price:
