Correct, the Diana labeled PCP's are all rebranded SPA/Artemis models.  The Skyhawk for example has a nicer stock, but functionally it is identical to the P15.  There was hope the Diana guns would have a higher level of QC than their SPA/Artemis cousins but real world owner feedback says otherwise.

Correct,...SPA branded Diana are made in China, which isn't a bad thing per se IMO

AEA is a new company in the US market. They are out of Taiwan and also produce under the name Listone. I'm not real clear on who own's whom, but they appear to have super high end CNC machines in the videos they put out. I got to shoot the HP Varmit and the pistol version. I had the .357 semi auto Terminator in my hands, but didn't shoot it indoors. It looked nice.

They look well made; website shows the HP Varmint sold out. I like long barrels- in general.
Wish I had the cash to throw down on a Sumatra .25 or Evanix Rainstorm .25.
Guess if I’m really gonna get a pestinator I need to start saving- again, lol.

'Course, barrels are threaded and Neil makes great LDCs for them

I'll double down with Manny. My Sumatra long is an absolute fire breather; tuned by Piatt and can crank out 101FPE with 48gr slugs for 6 shots.

I don't know if it's a Clague at the end of it (the mod came with the rifle and I didnt ask the PO), but you'd be very surprised at how much bark it takes away. Without the mod, this thing is LOUD. Almost sounds like a .30-06, no joke.

Put the mod on? Almost sounds like a magnum break barrel. 100FPE at that sound level is hard to beat.

And yes...the first thing I said after I got it was "why didnt I do this sooner?"

I just ordered the .25 Artemis from Wes myself, I'm sure that I'll be elated with it.

Well...now that Wes says he can export the HP versions (I think it was called the Warrior package or something), things may have gotten a little more convoluted. Throw in the price range, and it sure makes a tempting proposition.

And besides...variety is the spice of life, no?
