Fat Lighter is common around here.Basically it's the dried out stump from a dead fall pine. When the tree dies all the resin drains into the stump just above the roots and dries. When I find them I cut them into 1" x 6" sticks that can be lit with a BIC lighter. They burn long and intense. 1 or 2 will easily start a fire in the stove no need for paper.People around here often use it for landscaping like drift wood. If you drop a stick on hot coals it will burst into flames in just a few seconds.I have a 5 gal. bucket of the sticks cut up and more around the property that needs cut.If you put a log of it on a campfire folks will soon be backing their seats up to get away from the heat..
A chunk of my Black Walnut thrown in... with a wet Dawg drying next to it.. make's a fire smell awesome! My favorite smell in the world.Just saying.
How many of ya'll were around to watch the 1967 Ice Bowl at 18 below zero. Green Bay had Bart Starr score in the last seconds for the win over Dallas.

Gary Cooper, Loretta Young, and William Demarest. If William Demarest doesn't ring a bell, think of "Jeb" on Wells Fargo or "Uncle Charlie" on My 3 Sons...Yes, I am old.
