Is the RWS 34P with the TO5 trigger as accurate as the one with the TO6 trigger?

The t06 i more easily adjusted and is ALOT easier to remove and reinstall. Its a better trigger.

i have the 34 t06 and i just sold a 350 t05 and to be honest my t05 was lighter to pull and i liked the rounded edged better even tho it was plastic. the t06 is more adjustable but i find it still has more pull weight than the t05. just my two cents. both work well and the plastic t05 is not flimsy like a lot of people tend to say.

Have you tried to fully adjust the T06 trigger? their is a balancing act on the ajusting screws and if you get them set right their almost as good as a Record trigger.

yes its quite a balancing act. right now its at about 3lbs with about 1/8" first stage and then its a quick and easy let off. no matter what i did it was always a tad bit more pull weight than the t05. i like it tho i get good groups just as good as my 350 that i just sold. although that gun had more power so im still leaning towards t05 lol unless im missing something with the adjustments but i literally spent over an hour trying to get it like the t05.

yes. and the other two small flathead screws in the trigger itself. i could get it very light but it would have alot of soft takeup, or it would have no first stage at all. i like to feel when the trigger is ready to engage the sear.

yes you want to feel the wall for the 2nd stage, I know in allot of springers to get the triggers really good it usually takes allot of 1st stage travel to get the 2nd stage really light, some don't like this feel in a trigger but I do as long as the 2nd stage has a solid wall and breaks clean and light, have you lubed the sears?

just take your time sometimes it takes awhile to get it where you want it! I've had some triggers I've had to put several hundred pellets thru it just ajusting the trigger to get them where I wanted but its worth all the effort once you get it right!

I have no experience with a T06, I hear they are nice triggers.   I have read that some folks were not AS happy with the new T06/8 land barrel combo, just because they were getting lower velocities than the previous T05/8land/12 land.  Hey, ya can't make us all happy, and I'm just repeating something I read, so take that with a grain of salt.

What I will comment on is the T05.  This trigger is not ALL THAT BAD right from the box.  It is a better trigger than you can get from many guns in the same price range.

That said, it can be made better.   I have done a couple 2nd screw modifications, and will do my current T05 when the next lube tune comes around.   If you are a diehard RWS fan, you have a shooter that you most likely plan to keep, I would highly recommend doing it, or having someone do it.

I cannot take credit for the concept of adding this, and you will have to google or search forums for the mod under T05 2nd screw mod. 

Basically, you take the trigger blade out--drill out the first pin (chronologically, the first coming FROM the muzzle end)--
put the trigger in a drill press with a good clamp and drill upward toward the hole of the pin you just removed- thread the trigger and add a machine screw-round the end of the screw symetrically and POLISH,POLISH,POLISH--insert screw to the depth that the original CROSS PIN was, and adjust from there.

This give you the ability to have a very light letoff, with very little travel in your first stage. 

BE WARNED!  This description is very basic, you should fully research this before attempting.
BE WARNED!  The adjustment that this screw provides can EASILY be adjusted to UNSAFE operation.  Once you do it, contact someone who has adjusted one before to get started.  Both guns I have done in the past could easily be adjusted to the point that they would go off just by bumping the GUN, not the trigger, just the gun.  DON'T attempt while someone is around, and be very careful.   If you are not sure you have the stomach for this, DON'T try it.   Better to be safe.

BE WARNED!  When this is done correctly, and adjusted to your liking--your groups will shrink.  Once I got the gumption, and did my first one, my BEST groups became my NORMAL groups.

No, not a Rekord, but darn close.  Dang if an middle-aged redneck can tell the difference in the field. 

T05---very good trigger with a little TLC.

The T05 is ok for a field trigger and yes the mod you have done makes a BIG difference! but why buy a new gun with the T05 when you can get a new gun with a T06 for the same money? most of the guy's on this forum can't or don't want to spend the extra money to pay somebody to do these mods, most guy's who do trigger tunes want at least $50 to do the mod similar to the one you've done I'm not knocking the T05 it just makes more since to buy a gun if a new one is in your sites to get one with the more ajustable trigger to begin with! JMHO

If you get stuck with a t05 trigger a spring change and that mod from Va Farmers post, is an awesome mod and can be done in a dremel press. Best trigger I have used.

Although if one can get a t06, that is this adjustable I would go that route as mark said.

That "plastic" is ballistic polymer that is used in the frames and triggers of many a modern pistole.  The EU gunmakers were the ones that pioneered the use of them in modern firearms.  Repeat Sales to government agencies of these "plastics" have shown them to be popular over the 10+ years they have been in service.
I'm a fan of the TO5, and feel very confident with it's feel after a little cleanup.  I haven't replaced the stock components.  I will also say that the TO5 doesn't feel "COLD" in the winter...which I like.  Different but Good.

Some generalities are made about hte T05 versions, and I think it's because one or two people online got some lemons are are spreading the word that they are ALL junk.

My T05 shoots great, and the trigger is adjusted to where it almost surprises me when it breaks, which is the desired effect.

While it is no R9, the 34 is a great field grade gun, and has power, accuracy, and refinement beyond most others in it's price range.

The T06 is easier to use and much more adjustable.

The T05 34 have two barrels a 12 land outsourced one that may or may not shoot, an 8 land T05 has a better chance of shooting well and both T05 have front dovetail grooves. 

The T06 models all have 8 land barrels but no front sight dovetails.....

Get the T06 version a 12 land T05 cannot be discounted enough to worry about bad barrels and the older style trigger....well unless of course its discounted to FREE

Didn't you determine that the problems you were having were due to a bad scope mount, and nothing at all to do with the barrel?

I think the speculation on the 12 land barrel, when you KNOW the scope mounts were loose is a bit overboard. My 12 land barrel will shoot one inch groups at 25 yards with open sights consistantly, and I am no springer genius shot.

I have the 12 land 34 in .22, and a 8 land 34 .177,  Both are one hole guns at 20 yards if I do my part and are awesome guns.  would never had known about an outsourced barrel by performance, it was this forum that educated me.

There will be a lemon in everything you buy no matter what, seeing it is people that build them.   
But for the 34's I believe they are the best bang for your buck.
