Will the complete fill hose from the Benji fit the Hill?
Another path could be to just replace the entire hose with a new one that has the fitting on it. I mention this as my older Hill pump (a MK II I think) had a short, fat hose on it - and most importantly it was not microbore.A microbore hose will greatly reduce the pumps it takes to simply charge the line, and the added length is really nice too. I think I went from more than 12 pumps to get to ~2000 psi with my original ~1 foot long Hill hose to about 7 with a ~30" long microbore.Just offering it up in case Hill has not changed things. If not, you could try this: Edit - based on reading some of the comments on the item above, it looks like Hill is still not using a microbore hose. This might really be a much better way to go! Do note that it has a female end to go into your pump, and a male end to take your current foster fitting - it does not come with the foster fittings.
Yep my 4 year old Pump from Mike Melicks flying dragons is still going strong for 40 bucks. Granted I do not use it often but it always works when I do.Since the hill pump is BSPP then this is the one you need.https://www.ebay.com/itm/Paintball-1-8-BSPP-Male-to-8MM-Female-Thread-Quick-Disconnect-Connector-Adapter/223691020162?hash=item3415061782:g:j9YAAOSwXqpdlZlMThanks Mike, that looks like what I need alright! As to the Hll pump vs cheap Chinese pumps, I feel like there is no right or wrong answer. When I decided I couldn’t rebuild my Benji I started looking at all the old threads and reviews I could find. Lots of people said their Chinese pumps worked as good or better than a Hill, for a fraction of the cost. When I tried to figure out which Chinese pumps were good and which were bad, the consensus was that they were all the same. That’s not entirely true, as apparently some actually are designed to have water in them! One pump that was recommended was sold by Walmart, but it’s no longer in stock, so I looked at Amazon and ordered the Hiram, which was the most purchased on their website. Unfortunately after I ordered it I took a long look at the reviews and they were about 50% lousy, including one that said water, or some other kind of liquid leaked out of it, probably into the gun. When I asked questions about it, several people responded telling me not to buy that pump, and to buy a Hill!!!Well when the Hiram pump arrived it looked good enough, but the very fitting I’m dealing with on the Hill was a problem. First, it was too large in diameter so I had to take the TKO off my disco in order to attach it, and then when I did it wouldn’t hold, so I returned the pump. The other thing that concerned me about the Chinese pumps I looked at were that none of them came with desiccant filters or a way to attach one. I’m still dealing with the damage to my guns that I caused by pumping moisture into them with my old Benji pump. Don’t care to go through this again. Bottom line is, if you ask anything about a Hill pump, somebody is gonna tell you to buy a Chinese pump. If you ask anything about a Chinese pump, somebody is gonna tell you to buy a Hill.
