Info on the pp750

Looking at the parts , it sure looks like there’s some room for improving the flow. I wish I knew how to translate that on an iPad.

there is no need to introduce Artemis

their guns or rifles have been sold with us for some time

Once upon a time it was just a simple cheap air rifle - not much but for some 5000 crowns a decent choice to start

The Artemis PR900W is still in production and the price is similar

Guns and Artemis PP 700   and almost everyone here knows vzduchovkář - for four thousand three hundred ... joy to the bone and tuners will be discarded ( see I )

There is a lot, and I actually wondered if the fairly good quality will rise or it will start to turn off at SPA.

So when something about three tons of airgun material arrived, I was interested to look under the coat of the novelty

SPA Artemis PP 750 cal.177 & .22



Pistol - like a pistol is a lot OK as I do not mean ironically

I have a general weakness for pistols - storage weapon and firing capacity - for cans and possibly for blasting let's say the mice

The gun is absolutely luxurious stretching - side lever



This solution is a luxury thing - considering the need for a stronger drum spring,

on the PP700 model it is based on the turret principle - the drum spring is in the handle and the cock must be cocked before the shot

there is no tap but the drum spring has 1.5 mm in diameter, so the wire from which the spring is wound

Leaking - this is the way to easily pull the drum spring - there is not much space in the gun so you need to combine a lighter drum hammer

and a strong spring - the hammer has "only" 20 grams.



Pistol grip - like this is really mazec I like pistols in style Colt 1911

In SPA, I know very well how their older model PP700 turns into a carbine when a pistol is supplied with a stock

so a couple of clever heads came together (do you think it would be enough?) and thought the gun would fit a few wires from the side

and fit the gun with a "telescopic" stock

two pieces of logs ending with a shoe - like why not - someone would just blow it off but China is a country of limitless possibilities

somewhere it would be just a piece of bent wire, but here is a serious butt ending with a shoe - and even height adjustable.



If I can evaluate the psitoli before I disassembled it and looked at it, so to speak under the sunk ....

I can boldly say this is a really solid gun.

No burr anywhere on the edge - nothing erased anywhere - rubber on the boot doesn't smell like a Chinese market after rain

all screws are strength - all you have to do is "cook"



One look from the back of the gun - as I write all the parts - the screws - ended with no burrs



When viewed from the mouth also no burr anywhere no "humus"

and, oddly enough, the manometer in the thread timed to make the Artemis logo almost horizontal ☺☻☺

From the gun when I fired the first shot through the gates, I measured something around 6 joules - that's a lot but a lot on the PCP gun.

A few pcpéček I have already dismantled so I know a little about tuning.



The first thing to dismantle is to start is to dismantle the gun so that it is depressurized

either shoot the gun to zero with a classic gunfire - or if I am in a hurry to release the gun through a pressure gauge

the manometer is hidden under the swivel cap - where a technician draws a sprung ball, and it's really fun to lose and return

there went the designer way "o" ring - groove in sleeve - simple as a slap

Allowing the pressure gauge and hurrying means that you have to have spare "o" rings - Artemis PP750 is "in" in Viton material

so the seal is "bloated" - if you have more time to fire the gun and let it blow the next day.





Remove gun from gun body with trigger - PP750 has adjustable trigger and fuse that is part of the trigger

a pin which transversely moves to prevent the trigger from being pulled.



Remove the stainless steel screw - under this screw is the service hole - through which the transfer port channel passes.



The regulator assembly - is part of the pressure container - sometimes remains in the container tube when disassembled - sometimes it is necessary to enable the assembly

gun body - it can happen



Loosen the 4 screws with Allen head - so I didn't quite understand why they didn't use the same 4 - so more keys are needed

inbus 2,5 and inbus 3 - you will need a pin punch to disassemble (I was 2.5 mm)

flat screwdriver - and a bonus to the gun you get the key to allow the manometer





Where there is a screwdriver shaft, a pin is inserted in front of the disassembly - the valve is secure

the valve needle locks into the conical seat



In the body of the pistol is all sealed on the "o" rings - the principle of air supply for the devil is really out of hand



there was a 3 mm hole in the valve body - that's the brass part

in the upper part - the part into which the barrel is seated - there are two holes 3 mm air ports in the recess

so it is necessary to drill the brass port to raise the power so that the port cross section is at least similar

so a 4.5 mm hole in the brass port



What surprised me was all the interior surfaces - this if it was not in a box made in China nobody would know that it is not Europe

everything fits perfectly Norma H wants to write to me - the threads are pretty stiff.





Own barrel is stored in the case - the barrel can be screwed about 10 mm from the front of the insert that is screwed into the gun's own frame.



A little to the regulator - the regulator is here on the principle - aha - of the leading regulator manufacturer

regulator on the principle of those who produce Huma-Air - at least as far as I can use a régl tester from Hum

Of course I was wondering how the regulator is set, for 6 joule would be enough 60 bar

so connect the regulator to the pressure vessel

135 bar is not exactly enough - that's enough for a treaded windbreaker in caliber 6.35 to 80 joules

but since there is a relatively small regulated pressure chamber (about 10 cm 3), more pressure after the rg is required

Of course, the regulator can be rebuilt to a lower pressure but I left it.

And one more thing that got me - in the body of the regulator is inserted a filter to prevent "brothel" under the valve needle.

After drilling the transferport and folding the gun without tightening the drum spring, I immediately measured the energy of 15.6 joules

The gun I did not shoot too much actually took it immediately a friend that it urgently needs ....

So I can't write a word about any shooting accuracy.

One of the shooting but I can write - gun is wearing open sights - visor - where is a rotating blade with two notches and it is possible

height-build - and the fly which is on the front of the sleeve barrel - because the sleeve is screwed on the sleeve into which is inserted barrel

so it is necessary to arrange for the fly to be in line - the fly is carried on the sleeve ring - and is secured by the front of the moderator.

There is a prisma on the sleeve - the sleeve - which can be moved for the sleeve - on the top is 11 mm dovetail

so if I want to put the optics on the gun - one mount will be attached to the dovetail on the gun body

and the second assembly will be on the sleeve mainly - as it will be a firm connection so it will show us the time.

The importer of the gun to the Czech Republic is the company Next Company operating portals Gun.cz and Pazba.cz

gun is currently very favorable price 6300 crowns - in England the price is 275 pounds

 

TTT A Few Technical Terms

Overall length: 410 mm

Barrel length: 210 mm

Weight gun: 1450 grams

Pressure container capacity: 66 cm3

With a .22 caliber 7-round magazine, a .177 caliber is 9 rounds

The number of shots per filling (the container can be filled up to a pressure of 25o bar) is 30 in 16 joules at 177 (22 I have not tested)

It was all Czech.

We have pictures, evidence of quality machining, an easy to replace barrel, a sidelever action, a compact package, a collapsible stock, a 10cc plenum, and chances are good-to-better it will shoot accurately.  We know SPA can make a darn good pistol barrel.

I am so glad I prepaid/reserved one with Wes   I bet this will like the 17.5 NSAs... and if not, I know SPA barrel like JSB Ultra Shocks- soft fat heavy lead squirrel-crushers!

Well, the good news: it doesn't need a long barrel to be accurate.  Plus it is a pistol.

My PP700 has a tiny barrel and outshoots everything I own to 40 yards, not including my Leshiy.  Speaking of which, my Leshiy has a small barrel, only 250mm long and it doesn't come out anywhere near the end of the shroud.

PCP noob here, but I did reserve a PP750.  When users on here talk about 1cc plenum size to 1 fpe energy how absolute is that?  Is that just for optimal efficiency on large high-end PCPs or is it a restrictive value that applies to pistols?  Also, is the 10cc plenum size similar to the PP700 and PP800?

The PP800 in stock form has the whole 60cc as plenum. I'm not sure what the PP700SA has, that'd be interesting to check.

I haven't gotten a test model unfortunately, but once you put in the full power part you should get the 750fps in 177 or 550fps in 22 it's rated at. I'm not sure if they tested it with the hammer spring maxed and reg turned up or if that's a mid range setting. Snowpeak tests their guns in 22 with 16gr (1gram) pellets and I believe 8gr in 177, unlike some brands.

Manny, even without having one in my hands , I can tell you 20FPE will be doable. Maybe not while regulated but with 1/2 cc per FPE it should be achievable.

what scope/sights are you guys thinking about for these?  I'm thinking a cheap 1-6x24mm or 32mm AR-style scope would be fitting.  i already have some 4x32 scopes sitting around though and one of those might start off on there, even though 10.5" or so may be kinda long.  We'll see I guess.
