13xx Max Smoke Pro Valve

Ran the 20" barreled gun over the chrony:

20" 22 cal barrel, 14.3 CPHPs
10 pumps 620 FPS 12.20 FPE 1500 PSI
15 pumps 717 FPS 16.32 FPE 2150 PSI
22 pumps 814 FPS 21.04 FPE 2900 PSI (full dump)

Power was similar to the Max Smoke valve at 10 and 15 pumps.
A 24" barrel and/or a heavier pellet would generate even more power.

I'm using a stock 760 pump tube with a brass barrel band.
The pump link is a modified NOS 766 link.
The stock 760 pump link is not strong enough to withstand the high pressure.
It'll fold like a bad hand in Vegas....LOL

Took the gun apart and honed the pump tube.
Ran 2 oiled patches of 600 grit followed by 1 ea of 1200, 2400 and 5000 grit.
Came out nice and shiny.
Also made a new piston seal from 90A orange cast polyurethane.

Assembled the gun and pumped it 22 times and got 3100 psi.
Velocity was 811 FPS, the same as before with 2900 psi.
I believe the small .155" port and 20" barrel are limiting performance.
A .185" port and 24" barrel would help make peak power.

I like the pump curve as is with the 20" barrel though.
10 pumps=620 FPS 12.20 FPE
15 pumps=717 FPS 16.32 FPE
22 pumps=814 FPS 21.04 FPE

So, I'm confused.... Does this gun have a 13XX pump, or a 760 pump?.... and are they the same swept volume?.... What about the 10-10-10 gun?....

There's been a lot of changes to this gun.
Currently it has a 760 tube which is functionally exactly the same as the 13xx tube.
Same 3 1/2" stroke but smooth vs the stamped 13xx.

This gun is a test platform I'm using to try different mods and configurations.
The 10-10-10 gun was an experiment to determine if 10³ could be achieved.
I'm not a big fan of short barrel guns so the thrill is gone and I've moved on.
A 14 1/2" to 21 1/2" barrel is the range I prefer.
It's been a fun ride.

What about a 2100 tube and linkage? Isn’t that a 4.0 stroke? Is that linkage tough enough for 3000?
I’d love to see your balanced valve with a 24” barrel tuned for power.

The 2100/2200 pump is 50% more swept volume than the 13XX pump.... and quite strong as well.... You can put a 13XX valve into it with minimum mods, the greatest issue is the front trigger screw hole.... I used a breech band to hold the front of the trigger.... The tube is the perfect length for a 14.5" barreled carbine....

A 2100 tubed 13xx gun makes a nice pumper.
I modified my main pest gun with a 2100 tube in August, previously it had a 66 tube.
It has a 4.2" stroke with a modified NOS 766 pump link.
The 2100 tube allowed me to make the pump arm 10" long.
This gave a huge leverage increase and makes the gun very easy to pump.
I drill the front trigger frame screw back inside the loop and tap the tube 6-48 for a screw.

I could have used the whole 5" stroke of a stock 2100 but like this option.

Bob, I made a few diagrams and found that the TP to breech mounting was what was most important to get accurate.
Below is one I made when I made the SS pump tube awhile ago.

I see you slide the valve back past the tube stake a bit and used the whole 2100 tube.
I cut the tube to eliminate the big mounting holes and mounted the valve as usual using the stock TP opening in the tube.
