Diiscovery muzzle brake and barrel band

I've been out of town for awhile so I'm way behind on this post. To catch up let me say that I did get the TKO brake but no barrel band as of yet. I was afraid the 6 1/2 inch brake would be too long so I bought the 5 inch size. It looks good, fits perfectly and tones down the report. I'm not afraid to shoot it in my backyard now. I'm still trying to break in my Disco..I have a ways to go yet...but it sure is an easy rifle to use and accurate as all get out! That reminds me...how many rounds does it take on average to break in a Disco 22? Is it necessary to break it in as you would a springer or gas ram?

As far as breaking in the gun; I just broke in the .22cal barrel last week after upgrading.  Basically what I did was run a few patches with degreaser on them until patches came back clean.  Shot about 50 - 100 cphp pellets to burn up any oil/residue in the barrel.  Then switch to JSB and tested the groups.  The gun shoots dimes at 35 yards with JSB's.
