The barreled action from my old 56 is currently on it's way to Hector.  He is going to look it over and see if he can figure out what is going on.

Any updates yet? Or is it still too early to tell?

I sent the stripped down barreled action to Hector.  He completed the recrown and set the rifle up for testing.  He also made and installed a Harmonic Tuner to take the place of the heavy factory muzzle weight.  It is adjustable for tuning.  Initial testing by Hector looks to be very promising

Hector is returning my barreled action to me completely set up with the tuner, sub 12 short stroked power plant, D54 stock, ZR mount and a Vortex scope for testing.  I should have it this week.  More to come!

According to UPS you should receive the Franken-gun today (She's ALIVE!!!!!!).

Do test the gun with Pledge lubed 8.44/4.53 JSB pellets that seem to be what the barrel likes.

If you cannot get good results, let me know and I will send you some pellets from the lot that was used to tune the HT.

Now that I think of it, I should have sent you some pellets, LOL!

Anyway, this is going to be an interesting trip.
