What I do mind are people are people with no integrity. The fellow employee of mine should have been pushing the customer's admin team to make data consistent, since that's literally his job. He's got a target on his back from management with a couple bullseyes already. Anyway, we're both off work now. Sonja's day wasn't any better, but we got each other plus 3 dogs and 3 cats, so we can't complain too loudly.Hope you know I was being sarcastic about the American Dream.

Yes, I've got the plug and mulcher blade. Many times I've thought I should do as you suggested, maybe this year. Our gardens sure appreciate the leaf compost.
Probably 25% do good work regardless, and the remainder are worthless sacks of excrement that should have been fired (literally fired: coated with glazing and baked in a kiln for a few hours)
I took mom and the memsahib out for a dinner cruise. My amazing spouse made slaw and whipped up some cocktail sauce. Mom boiled up four lbs. of fresh shrimp and with the addition of some crackers, cheese, and the appropriate libations we had a meal. After the usual frustration of starting the recalcitrant outboard I got the 60 horsepower Mariner warmed up and we headed down to the estuary. Mom brought wine and I broached the hogs head of rum. We went about eight miles down the river and the bay. I judged the tide pretty well and we caught the flood coming back up river. Watched a gorgeous sunset all the way home and tide up at the dock just at dark.Sunset over Tate’s heII
We took our Trimble Satelite Survey equipment out and mapped some new storm drains that will be added to our City System. Our GIS/IT gurus really helped us with the technology and my old survey skills came in handy. I helped two developers with questions and got an earful from a business owner because our sidewalk/street-scape project included a median and eliminates the "suicide lane" in front of his business. The day ended with our contractor completing the mill and repave job for the three blocks in front of City Hall and the Post Office that we tore up earlier to fix storm and sanitary sewers built in the 1930s (we think/guess). Not a bad day for a guberment leech (employee)..lol

I see no benefit that has come from it.

I misspoke, actually the City didn't do it, the main drag is a State Highway. Supposedly there is a State law that there is no left turns allowed out of driveways onto a State Highway and the State required it in order to maintain the road and the City to get funds from the State.
