Let's see.. At 00:00 I was awakened buy the dog.wamting out.. odd. But ok we went out.03:45 same crying and barking.. "Shadup! Lay down" I yelled.04:00 woke up to the smell of poop and discovered Dawg diarrhea in the bed room.... She tried to tell me.... Put her out until 0615 while I scrubbed the carpet and got ready for work. Then she seemed ok so I brought he in and left for the day. Should have left her out... Came home at 15:00 to 6 piles of diarrhea in the family room. Now 4 hours later, she has been out since I got home..it's all scrubbed and disinfected.. she is now acting fine so I let her in.Let's see how tonight goes.
Courier just dropped off my new HW50.Scope should be here tomorrow.
It's early, but I already used the Ego weedwacker out back. A little hazy thanks to fires wayyyy up north, but the air doesn't smell bad. Still don't want to be out in it for hours, though. The dogs spent some time outside, got their bark on, and are back in napping. Sonja's getting the windshield in the Tahoe fixed- it ate a rock flying off some reverse-offset brodozer tires. Interesting story there: the State Trooper beside us also got a rock in the windshield (he was passing us and the brodozer in front of him wasn't getting out of his way since he had nowhere to go due to tailgating)... The truck was also squatted and next thing you know, SMACK we have a chip in the glass. I'm shaking my head in frustration as this new windshield is a few weeks old... Well, we hear more pelting sounds and next thing you know the state trooper's lights are on and Joe Dumbass in the squatted low-profile-mudders-sticking-out-a-foot-Silverado is getting pulled over. VA has a 4" law- squatting more than 4 inches and instant ticket. That truck wore GA plates and was going ~ 10 over plus tailgating, not just squatted. Really sad thing is the dude drove another mile or so before he realized a cop was attempting to pull him over. I hope Dude got his truck impounded or better yet crushed. This region's roads are imperiled by risky driving from these arseclowns driving their trucks like sportscars. I doubt a week goes by I don't see one upside down in the ditches near our house. Low profile mudders are not R-rated for cornering Add in big lift kits, squatting, and distracted driving, and you got a recipe for Woopsie! We've had to replace every windshield at least once with the exception of my 94 F-150 in the last year. The Tahoe is on it's 2nd replacement windshield and 5th chip repair total since we bought it. The bug deflector it did have seemed to direct rocks into the center of the windshield. I took it off and we're actually doing better now. VA has a law regarding how much offset a tire could have outside the fender line, but I doubt it is enforced as a primary offense. Hopefully, by day's end I can say I've done some welding on a work-cart for our property.
Best made plans for food preparation came to a halt when the elusive cherry pitter could not be found. So it turned into a major kitchen overhaul and eventually found the little bugger. Then it came to getting rid of one AC window unit, it had froze up in coils several times and got to where you could not turn it back on. I will never buy another AC unit the requires a remote to run it. I had a back up for this one and it's all knob. In the mean time the house got toasty while I was doing the switch out. I will be glad when this hot weather is over with. Bill, I can relate to the sense of relief of having all that moved. I have moved so many times as a child and hated it. Where I am at now is the longest I have stayed one place. Don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon.
SurgeryI went in for a hernia repair yesterday, it went well and I am at home now healing...
