You are SUCH enablers!!!So here is the "before" pic when I dug her out of the rafters of the garage 2 weeks ago.Lt. Dan: If you are old enough to remember "Magnesium rim's" like I am... that tells me a lot (old guys rule)!jmoronic I have been on the fence of a Bolink Baja bug body! That is stinking cool and I will keep you in mind for parts.bReT Thais is such a nother rabbit hole to take your boys down. Xraycer Those old tires were literally crumbling from age... my new NOS ones arrived and I installed them tonight on the freshly painted rims..
My pile of R/C plane &^^& is 30 years old ! I keep looking at it thinking I should build something to shoot out of the sky Spent the day improving back roads BTW
Digital Spectrum?OH SNAP... You mean the Rabbit hole has grown deeper in 30+ years. In all honesty that "rings a bell". I will have to look up the specs on my old Python transmitter and receiver ... I think it was... maybe... could have been my Hitec set up.I thought I was doing good by going to FM with my JR radio back in the day. That's when the FCC changed the ground frequency from my 45 year old Futaba.
Just to be fair, I spend way too much on my hobbies. It is addictive R/C A/GSo you have been warned.

I was into racing them but I really like the realistic look of these that you are showing. I always wanted one of these....https://www.tamiyausa.com/shop/110-trucks/rc-toyota-bruiser/

I don’t remember any of them flying for long. When they were thoroughly thrashed he would give them to us to shoot full of BB’s then they would get a ceremonious “Viking funeral”. I still build balsa and paper planes today to remember my father.

But if the R/C models are ok in the back room I would be glad to share my work.
