We haven't had rain in more than ten days with temps near 100f. And no rain for at least the next ten..
Just asked Betty Lou.. she followed me for 3+ hours on the trails at Geneva State Forest and has dust in more nooks n crannies than a Thomas' english muffin.

Bill......I'm getting rain each day..all week.

The Temps are hovering in the 50's F daily.

At this rate...It wont be long until the snow falls.

Well I'm a member of another gun forum, that bacon makes everything better. I treated myself to some Wendy's. Figure take the picture of the 3rd place coin next to it. I shot a 1269/1500, but I was only 23 points away from 2nd, In my division.

Waited on the phone forever for the VA to answer only to have a rude woman on the other end YELL at me for not knowing that they did not have a notary there to process my disabled parking permit. Needless to say I left a really nice review of the place , ( in Athens Ga.), complete with expletives and exactly what I thought of her societal abilities. I will now only go there when it is needed to keep my diabetic medicines. I will as in the past have to go to a "real" doctor out in town to get medical treatment. Semper Fi VA, LOL. So that is what I did today

Went shopping with Mrs. P. Hit Target, Walmart and Fred Meyer.

Last night I hit a different Walmart and picked up some of those $4.93 Air Venturi silhouette targets. I bought 4 packs. These are real thin so I will use them with lower powered air guns. I’m thinking probably just real low power like the FWB300S and pistols.

Going to my Grand-Daughter "Dead-Eye-Lou"s middle school volley-ball game.
She has been focusing on that lately instead of Airguns with G-Pa.

But, she is in 7th Grade and she made Varsity.... So I might as well support her in her new adventure... right?

Went for a little 15 mile dirt bike ride on my old 1983 XR-500R that has a identity problem. It's got 2001 Yamaha forks and front wheel in a bored out 06 CRF250 triple clamps. 1991 KTM 250 rear fender, a 1990 XR600 alu. swing arm and a progressive shock. First ride of the season and first ride in 4 or 5 months. Man, I going to feel it tomorrow. lol

Make sure you have them tied to something, they do get airborne. Take string trimmer line, the .065 size and tie a knot at one end and melt it, slip it in the hole on the target. Get a 2x4 and drill holes just big enough to run the trimmer line through it and tie a knot, heat it so it won't come untied. One they will be easy to stand back up, 2. you won't spend time looking for them.

Trimmed up a little more brush from a ginormous tree branch that came down a couple weeks ago. Only have about 2 more dumpsters to fill before its gone. I did put a bunch of it off to the side since its mulberry and I thought I had heard it is a nice fire wood.

I love mulberry for smoking meats. Gives a nice light sweet and fruity flavor.

Used 10ga of poison to kill ants. Killed a lot of them. Good riddance.

Carl you ever watch Tim Wells on his hunting shows? On his recent show he was laying on the ground near the bait pile and let a black bear get within 7ft from him while he had his blow gun not aimed at it since he didn't want to move and spook the bear. Bear walked around the bait up to him not according to Tim's plan of staying downwind then the bear thankfully chose a donut on the bait pile instead of him and walked away. He killed another black bear with it later. Yes folks that's right you can kill a black bear with a blow gun.
