I bought Streamline 10rd. mags to avoid the scope interference issue and they work just fine.

I keep seeing inconsistent reports on this. For some the 10 round Streamline mag works and for others it doesn't fit. It'd be nice to understand this.

Simple really, Different scopes have different saddles. This is the part of the scope that contains the windage and elevation turrets. Some are lower than others.


I prefer scopes that have the bottom of the saddle flat rather than rounded which encroach on the loading port much more.

I added the FX barrel support.

How does this attach to the rifle?

Slides over the shroud and butts up against the breech block. It has an internal groove with an oring to keep it in place, but i still shimmed it with a tiny sliver of plastic to keep it from moving even if i pick up the rifle by that area. It's super solid now.

I got mine today.  Just it, thought there might be some instructions or something.   I put it on with the inside ring toward the block.  I checked it out really well and mine looked like some kind of machine made ring on the inside.  Mine didn't have an o-ring there.  The other end was cut slanted, I could not tell looking at your pic if yours was that way or not. I put the longer end of the slant down, to be between the barrel and tank. Mine is very tight, I could not get it all the way to the breech block with my fingers, and I am afraid to use anything else. Guess I will see how it works.  I can tell there is more of a gap at the barrel end now than with out it.

I wonder if they changed the design some?  Mine has an o-ring on the inside so it will have friction to hold it in place.  The slant on my sits against the breech with the longer end on top.

Yea I ended up flipping mine around so the slant is toward the breach, took me a bit to figure that out. LOL

My DreamPup is from a new delivery batch and came with the drop down dovetail rail "clamp" and the barrel collar.

My collar was twisted 90° and there was a gap between the block and the collar. I twisted it with my fingers to be straight up and down and slid the collar back to the block.

For the guys that have a 22 cal, what pellets are grouping the best for you.  I started out with Crossman's  14.3 gr  and then tried JSB 13.42 gr Both not bad but not super either. Going to order some but thought I would see what's working for you guys!

JSB 15.89 / JSB 18.13 nothing is going to shoot better than those from a FX pellet liner.

I have the Dreamline Laminate in .22 and already knew it would need a barrel  band before  buying, Ohio airguns has one and works perfectly but cleaned it up and obviously used small pieces of rubber in between the set screws to not damage the tube or barrel ,  i did change regulator to the Huma , had an issue with the AMP in mine..I am now using the slug liner with amazing results but i does take time to tune correctly... i have hade you tube videos of everything  i have done.. (AIRGUNERS EDGE ) 5 shot group  with NSA 23gr almost under a dime at 95yards.. Just an absolutely amazing gun,, Way too much information I could even post on here, Easier just to watch my YouTube channel..

Yes you could  Making a barrel band out of aluminum but I would leave plenty of clearance for some kind of plastic or rubber  as to not damage the barrel or tube ...

This is what I was thinking... Machine in a way that it would accept a rubber liner, seated. Maybe even leave a little meat on the bottom of the bone so that it can be another optional point for attaching a bi-pod. If it's going to be taking up real estate it may as well provide options. Also, billet aluminum can be anodized a wide variety of colors for those who like to play barbies with their guns. While some think that my question is stupid, and are even "embarrassed" by it, I'm trying to think of a solution to an obvious problem that is more aesthetically appealing than the current products that I have seen offered on the market. Good thing innovation doesn't stop on account of those who think questions are dumb.....

Absolutely nothing wrong with your thought process, I would incorporate 4 set screws to for the top 2 for the bottom and if you have seen my video I use a piece of rubber for the set screws as to not damage or dimple the barrel or tube...
