I believe it is safe to say...50% is the shooters Technic45% is pellet (diet) selection5% pure dumb luck.I have had springers you could not hit the broad side of a barn standing inside it... until I learned its preferred hold and pellet choice.[/quoteMy Trail NP in .22 caliber is very difficult and I've tried several pellets. Crow Magnums as per Ted's Holdover test seem to do okay. I just got tired of all the trial and error and fiddling. The Fx Crown used from Tomiboy has been a joy. I just got the Predator tripod Ted recommended. Nice stable platform for the Fx Crown. Stand and shoot like I do for pig hunting. The Hatsan Carnivore 30 cal was a pain with the flyers. I will sell it for a great price. It just needs a bit of tinkering. My new mantra is buy the best and forget the rest.
