The .177 gauntlet is on sale for $249 (says pre order so may have to wait until its back in stock )
Use the save 15 code for 15 % off the sale price and order will total $212.49
I think the code expires end of day today but not too sure

How do these compare with say Disco or Marauder? Since regulated are they better than a marauder?

I have one in .22 and absolutely love the rifle. Accuracy is just amazing, as is the regulated shot count. Mine is one of the older ones that did not come with a supporting barrel band and POI would change a bit if you leaned the rifle barrel against anything. I installed one of the aftermarket barrel bands and the changing POI issue was eliminated. The newer generation Gauntlets supposedly come with a factory barrel band already installed, however not sure if these sale guns in fact have the barrel band already. Great guns, I love mine. I'm really tempted to get one in .177 so I may partake of this sale
As for comparing against a Disco and/or M-rod............ I have several disco's and they perform well for me but I'd choose the Gauntlet every time. As for the M-rod....... great guns, I love mine, but the shot count of my .22 Gauntlet is just amazing so if I was going hunting I'd probably grab the Gauntlet most times.
Just my opinion

Mine arrived Friday afternoon. No barrel ban. I got the .25 cal for Christmas and it came with a barrel ban.
Accuracy of the .22 was so amazing (significantly better than guns I have that cost 4x more) that I bought the .25 cal. Same results with .25 cal, so bought the .177. Too windy to accuracy test .177 yet but I will be selling a number of other guns if the .177 performs even close to the other calibers I have so far.
I’m an accuracy junkie.
I have a barrel band for the .22 but haven’t needed it yet and too worried that it may negatively impact accuracy. After a lot more testing with it, I will see if band is worth installing.

I get about 4 times more shots with the Gauntlet. My Mrod .25 gets 16-17 power shots and the Gauntlet 60-65 because of the regulator. Of course the power is not the same. The Mrod .25 averages 41-42fpe vs. 22-23fpe in the Gauntlet, but that's plenty for hunting. Both my Mrod and Gauntlet have no power mods or any valve mods.

Just a follow up.
Took my new .177 Gaunlet out for initial pellet testing (break in) in the morning two days ago. It did not disappoint. Tested 12 different pellets at 25 yards (my starting distance for new guns), 60 degrees, no wind off a solid bench (Cadwell BR front and Protektor rear rest). It stacked three different pellets and set a new record at my 25 yard range for smallest average of 6-5 shot group targets averaged together (0.133 CTC).
I have about 45 different .177 cal pellet brands/models and will have to retest a few of the ones I started this day off with b/c the gun was brand new and I had only cleaned the barrel and adjusted the trigger before I started testing the accuracy. I do start off with JSBs, Air Arms, H&N -the more accurate brands.
I'm more than happy with the results so far.
