It's a heck of a good small game gun for sure, all you need to do when you're out with it is make sure you have plenty of pellets

That's a deal for a probe for the Freedom !!! I won't use it very often in the field but at home it'll be great for chrony testing etc.

Received my short fill probe for the front pre-charge tube from Soupy in Today's mail. I give it a try this evening.... looks good from what I can tell.

After some of my nephews demonstrated their strength by pumping up one of the Freedoms rapidly, we cooked our first pump o-ring.

I had some brown Vitron rings ready to go, opened it up, replace the single Buna 90 duro with 2 Vitrons and we'll see how the pair fairs.

Very easy item to maintenance, all owners should be ready to execute because it's just a matter of time.

Just received my ATI Nova Vista Freedom .177 yesterday... late. This one was retail, factory new, but I got a good price. Nowhere near $399.

Been up all night getting familiar with it. Going from a Crosman Fire break barrel to this.

In as few words as possible... I am in love!

I went from sometimes putting a pellet in the same hole to doing it danged near every time!

So far only been able to shoot at 10 meters (indoors) and 25-30 meters outside at night.

Looking forward to testing it out to 50-60 yards soon and maybe more?

I am using the brown box Crosman 10.5 domed pellets. Tickled at how this gun likes them!

I have Crosman 10.5 Piranhas as well, but have not tested them yet.

I expect they will be a little less accurate than the domed.

Those chipmunks and squirrels that have gotten used to me missing???

How do you like me now!!! (chuckle)

Come to think of it, I need to check my "kill zones" for rodents. That will be the real test and I have a lot of confidence right now!

Forgot to mention that my DIY PVC "suppressor" transferred flawlessly from the Fire/F4 to the Freedom. Just a little duct tape did the

job. It is really just a single chamber, but it makes a huge difference in the noise. I hear the ping (on high power) of the hammer on

the pressure valve, but NOT the shot itself. With a little work, I think I could get it even lower.

Kerry.... from the pellets I've tried, the 10.5 ultra mags seem to be the best. Like you, they were the first ones I tried. Lots of pellets out there that I haven't tried but I like to buy locally and cheap. It was a huge plus that my .177 Freedom loved the CPUM right out of the gate.

Yep! Locally available and relatively CHEAP!

Well, I order online for the 1250 brown box because the Piranhas are the only 10.5 Crosmans available at Walmart here and the (senior moment) other heavies available locally not so good.

When I first started to pump my Nova Vista Freedom, a screw fell out. I have not been able to identify where it goes. It looks like a very short and smaller diameter scope screw with an allen head. Is there a diagram of all of the parts (exploded view?) of the Nova Vista/Aspen?

JSB makes good heavy pellets for the .177's too. I really like the 13.43 grain in my DAR177.
