JSB makes good heavy pellets for the .177's too. I really like the 13.43 grain in my DAR177.
The PDF for the seneca aspen assembly is probably what you want drive.google.com/drive/folders/1_Wv4mkAVJt_ZSP6MXaHSn3P5UtBilHsq
Kerry can you post a pic of the screw that fell out?
Bill that was one of the first things I did after joining the forum and I'm still continuing to do it.
Well... you found the right thread.... lots of good info in these pages.FYI.... I don't even bother using the high power setting on my .177. Low power is plenty for anything I might want to shoot at.YMMV
Kerry... Pop over to the New Members Gate and welcome some new folks coming in. This will help get your post count up to the minimum 20 so you can post pictures.... we like pictures.... They also make it easier for us to help you.

They also make it easier for us to help you. Will do as soon as I feel better.I did get my first kill today. Chipmunk. However, the POI had changed, so it took 3 shots at about 25 yards. The great thing is that he did not move after the first 2 shots. The DIY suppressor (PVC pipe, duct tape and Scotch pads)makes it so quiet, he never even knew I was shooting at him.I need to look at the barrel and make sure it is completely secure. Is the shroud supposed to be able to rotate? The locking screw for the shroud would never lock down, like it was stripped, but it does stay in.The should moves about a fifth of a turn. Just enough to get that screw where I can barely get the allen wrench in it.The plastic piece it screws into rotates the same amount, obviously, and I am not sure if this is normal. Thanks! Great people here!
Oh, one other thing.I have had it jamb several times when loading the next pellet. One time was a double feed, my fault, and I had to use bamboo dowels to remove the pellet.Since then, I have had it jamb and it definitely was NOT because of double feeding. Problem with the mags perhaps? And no, the pellets were in the mag correctly. I double and triple check that after the double feed.

Just a note, I haven't posted lately because the scissor action style of pumping the Freedom did something to my neck/back.I can't turn my head in either direction and am in quite a bit of pain. I guess I am too out of shape, too old and got to excited and ran about 200-300pellets out of the gun in a very short time.

I guess I am too out of shape, too old and got to excited and ran about 200-300pellets out of the gun in a very short time. Same thing happened to me the first time I did a long shooting session but I also have a compressed disk in my neck which doesn't help. It will get easier as your muscles get use to the movement. One thing I found that makes it easier on the arms, shoulders and back is pumping 5 times after each shot to maintain one pressure. I try and keep mine between 2900 and 3000psi and that does it fine. It's also easier on the pump. There's a little 006 o ring in the high pressure part of the pump that will over heat and start leaking and also make pumping a lot harder, at least from what others have said. I've never had any problems with pellets jamming with either the seneca mags or the gauntlet mag I have. You do have to make sure you have the mags seated all of the way.
