When Tunes, Accessories, Modifications, and Repairs all Come Together…

Hello GTA Peoples,

Don’t you like it when a plan comes together?  Talking to the amateur tinker’er / airgun tuners out there much like myself.  You know?  When all of the accessories are installed, modifications are completed, and problem leaks are fixed.  That PCP you chose to buy has your style, tune, and special touch on it and works as you dreamed it would when you had the tools out with the gun torn down.  Whether over the chronograph, on target, or in the field.  It doesn’t leak, it doesn’t malfunction, it just performs.  Ever get to the point where you’re just done, and just sit back and admire the finished work?  So much time and energy put into these two airguns, decided to capture it in a handful of photos.  Who can relate?

Joe, the stocks on both of your FX’s are Museum quality! I know your thread is about tinkering but...the work you put into those stocks is special .

Sure can agree.

While both of us on different paths, my 2240 had a HPA journey(while not "EXACTLY" what i imagined) and is finally at its end. I have a new journey to travel when time/money permits.



Scope has changed to a t20 thermal(the scope on the left with the "tree" logo)compared to the picture but it's still where im done/leaving it.

After all parts purchased and extra accessories(vertical foregrip/ect) im getting a 9 count string from 1800psi to zero, 8 being usefull at 17-19fpe and the 9th being "dead" and completely emptying the hipac of air.

Nothing beats the fullfilling satisfation of the successful completion of a tedious job.  All the trials and errors included!  Best of luck Skeets!!

Easier than you may think.  Seven coats of
Minwax Gloss Wipe-On Poly, some sanding, and drying.  Hardest part was living without being able shoot the guns for about 3 to 5 days until the refinishing process was done with.  Since you dig those, check out what I consider the “Masterpieces”!
