Need to hire 3d printer
« on: February 14, 2019, 08:33:39 PM »
I'm trying to make an adapter for my P15 to use Mrod mags. I somewhat made a design in a freebie online CAD program that I'd like printed. If anyone could print it for me that would be great. I can send a paypal payment. Let me know if your interested. Thanks.

I would also be very interested to talk to someone who does this. I think it could be the start of a good two way relationship. I am proficient in multiple cad and 3d softwares.  I also have a design sort of mind. Professionally im a contractor and do plenty of custom work. Id really love to design and 3d print some custom universal magazines if someones up for it id be happy to design and pay shipping and materials. Then you could do what you wish with the plans

Well my original one took some tweaking. I'm attaching Rev. 1 if anyone wants to print it and try it out. I modified the dimensions based on the original that I sanded down to get to work. It is a pretty tight fit to slide into the action though.

NOTE: This is designed for .22 caliber.

Several public libraries in my area offer 3d printers for patron use. It might be worth checking into.

Awesome! Thank you very much! You wouldn't happen to have a P15 to try it in as well would you?

I do not have a p15.

There are some abnormalities that resulted in some bulging. 25.5mm l x 16.5mm h x 14.6mm/16.3mm t (in the grove/tabs respecting.) single tab 18.4mm.

If you can see in the pictures there is some buldging on the base and the single tab. The file showed that as flat. It only took 20 minuets to print out. It may print better with less infill.

Ah yes,  I see that. I've no experience with 3d printing so I dont know what would cause or cure that.

really its all infill at this point but at 90% is kinda low i could back off to 85% and it may help. I doubt this part needs to be solid anyways.
