Anybody know who sells them? I would like to get some to try in my .22 air rifle. Pushing a 5.52 pellet through the barrel seems a little to easy and after inspecting the pellet you can barely see any marks from the lands on the head of the 5.52 pellet.

From what I've read the head only needs to barely graze the lands for accuracy.

Pushing a pellet through the barrel isn't the same as when it's fired. That sudden blast of air expands the pellet's skirt to fit the barrel. If you really want to try something in the 5.53 size, there is the H&N Baracuda Match in 5.53 & FTT also in 5.53.

Hey Marty!  You could try calling/emailing Predator Intl. to see if they can point you to a retailer.  They're located in Littleton, Colorado.  You could also try sending a PM/email to MonkeyDad1969, Joe's in pretty good with the folks at Predator maybe he can ask around.

On a side note, now I'm interested.  I didn't know JSB offered specific head sizes.  My Marauder prefered the 5.53 H&N FTT's then I changed a few things and started shooting the JSB 18.13's. When you find them, post an update, I'll be ordering some right behind you.

It's my understanding that JSB offers their .22 pellets in sizes 5.5 & 5.52 only. Maybe MonkeyDad1969 will chime in soon.

Thanks all for your input. I tried googling the JSBs in 5.53 and came up with some older results but they were all 2015 and earlier. AoA and a couple of others carried them but I couldn't find any on their websites now.I'll have to try calling tomorrow to check.

I seem to remember a post not to long ago (but I can't remember where) that someone said that they were still shooting them. Maybe they were getting them straight from the manufacturer or have a bunch on hand?

I'm getting 1moa to 1.5+moa out to 75 yards with the 5.52, just want to see if can shrink the groups a little more.

Pushing a pellet through the barrel isn't the same as when it's fired. That sudden blast of air expands the pellet's skirt to fit the barrel. If you really want to try something in the 5.53 size, there is the H&N Baracuda Match in 5.53 & FTT also in 5.53.
I've tried the 21.14gr 5.53 and they don't do well at all in my rifle. On the JSB 18.13 I can see the land marks on the skirts but need a magnifying glass to see the marks on the head of the pellet. The only spot the  pellets are tight is just out of the leade, after that they practically fall out on their own. Also I don't think the barrel is choked because there is no change in the resistance at the end of the barrel.

Hey Blue! I'll let you know if I find any. BTW I'll be in Colorado some time later this year(some family moved out there),it would be nice to meet up if your close to Edwards.

If you're experimenting you may wish to try H&N FTT in 5.53.  The H&N in 4.52 seems to me to be a tighter fit than JSB in 4.52.  The same may hold true for their .22.

Good catch, thank you, Dave.  It was a typo.  I corrected it.

Have you tried sorting with a PelletGage?  I sort the JSB 18.13 and the 15.89 and doing so helps tighten up my groups.  It yields quite a few 5.53's per each tin too.  There is quite a variation in skirt sizes in a tin of 5.52 JSB's.
