I have seen reference to "1760" quite a bit in my research. After posting above, I decided to take the plunge and just bought a complete 2260MB from PA... With our GTA 10% discount and cashing in my "bullseye bucks" I got it cheaper than just a 2260 lower tube and steel breech purchased separately would have been.
