We ran them on Thursday. We did load Calculations and found we could make them from alloy and put the Beef were it needs to be.

They're 7075 aluminum.

I still sort of like the idea of a steel one, due to the wearing issues. Was your calculation to still use aluminum based on just firing forces, or also considering cocking wear?

They have a pressed in bushing at the pivot point.
