Question about my Crosman 150 Valve
« on: January 08, 2019, 02:19:29 PM »
Just received a Crosman 150 as a gift, it is the single piece barrel breech version.  In good shape but could use some blueing, paint, and seals.  I was about to order new seals like I do on my other airguns. While apart I was going to rebuild the valve when I seen some people offer a  polymer valve they state is better than brass???.  I prefer  to use the old parts to use as much as I can because this gun is 60+ years old but I am curious, has anyone used the polymer valves?  Any luck with them?

The kit that you've got showing there works good, that's the kit that I put in my ratty one, I'm getting 90 good shots with it on one co2 and very accurate for a pistol too.  I like the adjustable sights on them too.  I've got another one coming USPS tomorrow and it's a nice one.

Thought I should at least provide a picture of I asked the question about.  Light surface rust.  I will strip and reblue.  Not sure yet what paint I will use on frame since  I am  currently out of duracoat.

How do you word it... "Air Guns" or "AirGuns"?
