I did get another batch of parts from Crosman. Enough that I could actually mock it up and finally see if what I had envisioned was actually going to set well.
One down side was I had specifically ordered a Disco / Maximus breech to not have the rear notch but what I received has it...even though the part number is correct. I called Crosman and explained what I had ordered and received. I was told the notch rear is now what they will all be.
While I find this hard to believe, I guess it is my only choice now.
Any way. I loosely snugged everything down, just enough to shoulder it. No internals but this is what it is looking like. The Rocker1 moderator make the length perfect for a .20 carbine.
In all honesty, I am kind of liking the black accents of the breech, barrel band, barrel tube spacer, and trigger guard along with the CF moderator.

Shoot my 2240s quite often. I would like change one of them to a 2540, but have been unable to find a barrel at a reasonable price. Thought I had found one, but cannot get in touch with the guy again to buy the barrel. Just something to play around with while healing up from back surgery.

Jonah, if I remember right David at AlchemyAirwerks has the needfulthings to make a .25.

So last night I bit the bullet and went with my "educated guess" on the internals.
I ordered a Boss RP Valve / heavy spring / Boss Buddy TP kit and a Notched hammer from Alchemy.
MellonAir got the nod for a Stainless Flow thru bolt and handle and a Power adjuster.
I went with the .177 size bolt to fit in the .20 since it is only a couple thou smaller.
This barrel came with the TP drilled at the proper location, I verified it once I received the Breech... But it has no lead-in and that is fine for me. I will determine how steep an angle and how deep to go once the bolt gets here and put the lead-in on it with my Dremel one of many angled stone choices.

I'm liking this build! Very nice!

I got myself a .20 build going on as well just waiting on a barrel. Hopefully will be done this week. Mines on a Gen1 Mrod though. Never should have sold my other one but wasn't a huge fan of the 13gr JSB even though they were very accurate. Now with the heavies I'm gonna tune it to be a 30fpe+ pester. Should perform better than a .22 with the 16gr!

I got notification that after nearly 2 weeks mellon has printed a shipping label for my flow through bolt and power adjuster.

While waiting I picked out a scope, I got a little carried away.

3.5-10x44 AO Nikko Stirling from Kentucky Gun. It arrived in 3 days and when I saw the size of the box I knew I had let "scope envy" get the best of me.
That is a quarter on the box, not a dime

Thanks Marty, it is a fun little project.
If the scope looks too out of place or worse yet changes the feel / balance of this little carbine I will swap it with the 3-9X32 AO Simmons "22 MAG" I have on my Beeman Silver Kodiak.
But that Simmons has held up so well on a springer I hate to change it.
