Those look great! They are the same as the ones I cast in .25 cal. I just need to get them to shoot well out of my choked barrel. How does these do for you, and out of what gun/barrel?

From my Gamo Urban (choked barrel) at about 640 fps. They shoot great at 35 to 40 yards. I don't push it any further at this power level.

What are you typical group sizes at 35 yards? Got any pics? That's ok if you don't. I'm just trying to get info from others shooting the BBTs with choke or unchoked barrels.

I mainly shoot steel, but I'll try to put something together for you this afternoon. I posted a video here a couple of days ago. Check it out, and I think it will give you some idea of the accuracy. I had a pretty good group going on the right side of the right spinner. I really wasn't really taking my time though.

I cast my first run today with the new limited production NOE-358-152 HP mould. I haven't sorted them out yet, but some sample test shows to be in the 150gr range with 40:1 lead.

I can't wait to see how the Slayer likes them at 100 yards!

Thanks, They feel really nice just to handle. The three bands are real smooth to the touch. Almost like they are not there, kinda.

I up the temp on these to 850 for better fill out.

They look very similar to the noe for the .257 Very accurate for me.

Thanks fellas! I'll be receiving the breech O-ring soon. I'll be retuning for these slugs once replaced. I am anticipating a quieter Slayer with better ES, and am looking forward to tuning with the slightly lighter slugs. They should tune and hopefully shoot well out of the Slayer.

Keith, I had another bullet here that didn't shoot so well. In fact not well at all. It was a shortened NOE RD, that had been cut down to 50 grains, and large HP by Hollow pooiint mold services. (Eric). It was stellar at 80 grains in the Talon/Dor.

Since the same bullet shortened ever further, to 44.6 grains shot so well after the device test, I decided to give it one last try. Nope, still not good. Much better but not up to standards.

I have over 300 US bucks tied up in the mold, and it was now virtually a huge waste. So I decided to bring it down to the same dimensions as the bullet that is doing so well with the device installed in the RS II.

First shot was 994 fps, but as you know, a fast miss is well, a miss. Fired three more,and was rewarded with a nice clover leaf. It hit a bit higher, and to the left in the north wind. Adjusted right, three more, adn a nice clover leaf exactly where I wanted it but high. One click down, and bingo. Reloaded and shot 5 and was rewarded with a very nice tight group that was basically one ragged hole. Woo-Hoo!!!
I wonder what it could do with a good barrel.

This HP weighs in at 39.5-6 gr's. And gave another two shots before coming off the reg.

Hopefully I can have a plenum made for it eventually, as it is only 30 cc's. far too small. Which has me running the Reg. maxed out at 175 bar.
Hubb at Huma told me it would wear out the bevills, but he said, so what. they are cheap and we have plenty of them.

I can't wait to try this little Hi Stepping little pill on a varmint. The Cavity is HUGE, well pretty much like what you just cast! Woo-Hoo!!!

Mike, out of the three NOE moulds I've purchased so far, I don't feel like any are duds. The first .357 mould shoots great out of my Slayer, and I am confident this new mould will do well. In fact, I have already shot some very similar ones that Carl graciously sent me. A 6-shot 1/2" group at 100 yards was achieved with those.

I really didn't want to buy the first .357 mould knowing this new mould was coming thanks to Carl, but wanted to get started with my casting practice.

Now my .25 cal mould hasn't been so great, but I figured that before I bought it due to my choked barrel. Once I get the proper barrel or gun, they should also shine. I figure I can sell whichever moulds I don't want to settle down with anyways. I only need one good mould for each caliber.

I did a test run with my new .217 BBT 5 cavity brass with HP mold. far all looks great, waiting on weather to get some range testing done.

All good to 30 yards, I did a quick 5 shot group with the HPs just kneeling, I pulled the first shot , go figure.

James I haven't even attempted to shoot any of my BBT's from my Sentry, I sure to like the way they shoot from my Airmax Dominator though, they're like lasers from that gun doing 38fpe at the present tune.

That is a beauty Loren, it's really nice to know that the NOE cast's work well in it because I've often wondered about that with that gun. I'm sure that it would be plenty for a 30 yard shot on a medium size whitetail.
