If the list opened up to include guns I've not owned, the FWB 65-MKII and 124 are about even for me... but the Beeman C-1 is Top Dawg. Been wanting one since I first saw it in the catalog. Priorities keep getting in the way of owning one, but soon, I hope.

Same could be said about the HW-30 and R-7. I'm 5'10" with monkey arms and put many a winged-rat in the bag with a .20 R-7. I just like the straight stock- really gives the C-1 a svelte clean look.

The R9/HW95 in .177 is my choice for one airgun that can do it all. It can hunt, target shoot, and plink with the best of them.
The gun that feels the best in my hands is a vintage HW50S, but it doesn't come close to the target accuracy or hunting power of the trusty ol' R9.

My 1976 HW50s, pre safety, leather seal. Its super accurate and a joy to shoot.

At this point I'd say my 342. The search for one of my youth is what lead me to GTA.
No support equipment. They made a boat load so parts should be available for decades. IF I had to put meat on the table this'll do it. AND for fun it always puts a smile on my face.

If only one, of my current, it would be my raw hm1000x in .22.
But if i can get my hands on the evol in .25 , then that will be it... shooting 25 gr and 34 gr jsb’s, this would be able to cover many grounds, light, high quality, short - seems like the perfect gun to me

+1 on the R9, accurate, easy to carry, and powerful enough for feed yourself. Just throw some pellets in your shirt pocket and your good to go for any type of shooting.

Just 1? If springer my D460 in .177 solid hard hitting and accurate. IF PCP probably my Evanix RS II .22 but that my soon change once the Air Speed .25 arrives. Fortunately only 1 is not required or mandated by the powers that be.

My favorite rifle including the multiple firearms I own is by far and away my Hw30. It has tens of thousands of rounds through it and is still crazy accurate. It's been through springs and tune kits but the basic rifle is all original. I usually use it in my basement range with a Williams FP-AG peep sight. Once in awhile I'll put a Hawke 2-7 Airmax on it to shoot milk bottle caps to 50 yards. The most fun rifle I own. BAR NONE!

My vote is TX200. This rifle is used by Field Target shooters because it gives you the best chance to win......WHY?......because it's the most accurate. Of course the HW77 and HW97 are diect competition. The HW's are offered in different stock choices. The TX200 has only one. I still prefer the TX because the trigger block is superior to the HW's. The block is machined from solid, the HW block is folded steel.

If I could have only one and relied on it as a utilitarian tool, then my 392 would be the choice. It can make meat, isn't pellet-picky, and it's durable as heck. A brass barrel/body doesn't hurt either. As much as I loved my Blue Streak, .20 pellets are still harder to come by than .22. About the only complaint is optics require gimicky mounts.

Still love the old German springers- make no mistake.

These "if I could only have one gun" threads are always interesting and I do enjoy reading them, so don't take it the wrong way when I say they don't mean much to me, personally, since my shooting interests, both with air guns and with power burners, are way too diverse and varied to be done with only one gun. I think a more appropriate question for a shooter like me is, what gun do you shoot the most? As far as airguns go, that one is pretty easy. In terms of hours shot, the HW30S is an easy winner, despite the fact that we have a large and varied air gun collection.

Appreciating that most of my air gun’s are engineered to excel in a specific application, I would choose the Thomas because its adjustability allows for shooting a wide range of .177 pellet weights exceptionally well.
