Benjamin 392 Leak
« on: December 11, 2018, 01:45:31 PM »
Hey Dennis,

I have a newer Benjamin 392 that will leak through the barrel when trying to pump it up if the stock screw is the least bit tight.
Any tips on what might be causing this?

We would need to look at it to tell you exactly what is wrong.

Email me at donnie@bakerairguns.com if you want to send it in.

Thanks Donnie,

I'll try to ascertain what the issue is myself. With the dealer cost of these guns it would hardly be worth the repair fee.

Just in case anyone else has this issue it was the "pump" end o-ring on the valve body that was the problem.

I have had a great experience finding o-rings of every size and durometer at the local Parker Hose and Fitting Store. I have all my pumpers working great for less than five dollars. They have an entire wall of bins and the fellow behind the counter has really enjoyed seeing my collection. I picked up a Racine 392P the other day and it got the treatment. It's a really accurate shooter.

How do you word it... "Air Guns" or "AirGuns"?
