all bug busters i rate at 5 stars... my favorite is still the 3-9x32. yes the cross hairs are very thick but the mildots are easy to use and if they cover the target, you are on. The only thing is that i wish the eye relief was longer than 3.5 inches, so we would not have to use offset mounts.... LOL

Pyramydair did a video write up of the bug buster... and they put it through 750 rounds of the supposed hardest recoiling magnum springer on the market... and it lived with zero faults. thats a win in my book. and the brass turrets are shiny...

I've got one on my TF97 .22 with an off-set mount. Nice, solid scope. Holding zero so far.

I have had one on my 2260 for about a year now with no problems. I am not crazy about the thick crosshairs but they really are not much of a problem since this is a 20 - 25 yard gun.

I had two, they sucked. Lousy optics, totally useless at anything longer than 15 yards. Had 4 other Leapers scopes in 2 other models in a year, they either failed on non-magnum springers or had lousy optics. Haven't bought a Leapers scope in 3 years, and don't intend to any time soon. Later.

ive had 2 and they are very good except for the crosshairs it is a HUNTING scope and its more than adaquate to bust critters in the head. so if your looking to just punch paper for tight groups your better off looking elsewhere. and you cant put them on just any gun without an offset mount. leapers does have a sub 30 buck version of the 4 and 6x models. its the same but non-AO and none-IR but that can be easiy enough to fix. they look lke a great deal. but i dont understand why they cant make them with tin hairs.

I have a total of five, I've had them mounted on my RWS48 and my B25 and they survived. I agree, the only negatives are the short eye relief and the thick cross hairs, but the only thing I hunt are paper, bottle caps, cans, toy soldiers and toy Indians/cowboys, mostly at 10-20 meters in my back yard.
Just remember what you bought and don't expect $1000 optics or performance out of them and you will be happy.

but it would be simple for them to put a thin mil-dot in it and it would be close to the perfect all around scope. if they did, id probably have them on all my guns. all you need is a offset mount and they will work on most guns. im sure they hear and see all the complaints about that. or they could offer 2 dfferent models. im gonna send them an email and see if i get an answer about that. ll let yall know if i get anything back from them if your interested.

I put a bugbuster on my Izzy 61. Other than the thick reticles (as most have mentioned), I like it. Clear optics and stays put; but the 61 isn't a heavy recoiling gun either.
