The way of the Predator polymag
«

Just another nutter taken with a 25 Predator Polymag (from 25 yards). But, the interesting thing is the travel path of the polymag. The polymag entered through the back of the upper left arm, went through the chest or back, and lodged in the posterior soft tissues of the nutters right elbow. The nutter's right upper extremity was fractured and I bet the other upper extremity was rendered useless too. The squirrel was on the grass when it was hit. The interesting thing was that the nutter did a faceplant/bellyplant yet still tried to run (using its working hind legs to push itself foward).
Entrance wound in the posterior left upper extremity.
Feather points to the 25 Predator Polymag lodged in the posterior soft tissues of the right elbow.
Actual polymag.

The rifle is the 25 Marauder with factory settings. My guess is the fps is around 800-850 fps. Sooner or later I will pick up a chrony.

it's tuff for something to stand up with a .25 predator blasting through it... that has to be the best hunting pellet...

NICE. I still have a bunch of tins I bought years ago when they first came out. A lot cheaper then . Worth every single penny when you are taking beasties though. Every airgun hunter should at least give them a try.
