... I told my wife we really should move to North Carolina cause everyone is moving there....
Stephen, that is a very informative video and very well done. I'm sure that a lot of people will benefit by it and should encourage a lot of them to roll up their sleeves. Thanks for a lot of well spent effort.
All the more amazing given your first gunstock! Also, mostly with hand power tools. and also doing the video... Thx. I appreciate the process that went into this. And I'm scared to try a adj cheek riser to the oem wood stock.
WOW! That stock is beautiful! You just turned that $300 gun into a $1000 gun! Amazing craftsmanship! Now that I'm drooling, anyone seen a video on how to adjust the trigger on this rifle? I have swapped the two back screws, but I'm not sure what else to adjust for what or how much to adjust which screw. I'm looking to lighten the trigger as much as possible, yet still be safe. Thanks...

I screwed it all the way down then backed it out incrementally until I got the lightest pull weight but I can still turn on the Manual safety. I hope that makes sense.

I'll document everything I'll be doing on it with short videos that can be used as reference. The first has nothing, just first impressions and me shooting with the open sight. But later I'll cover trigger adjustment, fixing those magazines, hammer spring tuning, regulator adjustment and all the things you guys have documented on this post!I'll post the video here in this thread when finished
Hey folks, I just uploaded the video. Hope we can document most of the pain points, and adjustments through this series. Hope you like it!
Stephen, thanks for the suggestion. When I started I bought a camera and spend some money on it without realizing how important was the mic input, this camera didn’t have one I’ve been trying to film inside, but sometimes it’s impossible, I have a newborn baby and that ambulance at the end of the video doesn’t even compare with my baby crying.... I’ve been thinking in a solution for the mic, don’t know if I can buy something that allows me to record just the voice and then put everything together when editing, if not, I’ll have to wait a bit and spend in a better camera... everything today cost $1000, well, not everything, the Nova Liberty is an exception. If you or anyone have any suggestion on how I can improve this in the meantime I’ll highly appreciate it! Maybe there is a Nova Liberty of the cameras but Im not aware...

I use a stand alone voice recorder when I film weddings as a backup. You can buy a voice recorder on eBay or Amazon for $30 to $50 that's pretty good. Here is a Sony with good reviews. But please do your own research.i hate to recommend something onnthe fly.Sony ICD-PX370 Mono Digital Voice Recorder with Built-in USB Voice Recorder
