You don't need to touch the Philip screw. Once you have the hammer spring block out. There is a screw that holds the lever arm to the top. Undo that one through the stock screw hole from underneath, then pull the screw down...there is another screw that holds the lever block on the side. Undo that one and the hammer should fall free. Yes it is a very light hammer, you can add a short rod in there and at the same time increase hammer tension that way. It is almost In a free flight mode if you can anchor the spring to the spring block. I think that's one way to do it
I just bought a wood stock Liberty from AT, it's a .22 that was sent back for a warranty return. $107.50 . . . . this should be a journey in it'self because I've been reading through all the threads (not seriously yet) since the guns have come out and there's definitely gobs of info already in this forum about these guns. I just watched Bankers video shooting at a hundred yards with the JSB18.3's, I must say that I was impressed. If I remember correctly AT ships stuff pretty prompt from what I remember.
Billy, make sure to put me ontop of the list once you get some 7075-t6 round stocks in.[/quoteGot a piece in a couple days ago, trying to find time to get to it, "dang" making a living getting in the way.
Ken I wasn't aware that you bought the Victory. From what I've been reading these guns are a really decent fit and finish also. I'm pretty spoiled with my tried and true Airmax Dominator, it's my go to hunting rifle and has been for quite some time now. I'm curious as to what the twist rate is on the .22's and if they're a choked barrel or not. I'm thinking that the pellets that I've been casting will probably work great in these guns.

I picked up another plastic and a wood one for r&d as I've been using my shooter to develop parts. Pictured is a prototype plenum we cnc'ed up, 7068 aluminum, (not 7075). If the results are as I anticipate, l likely be offering them (among other parts) in a within stock configuration for those interested in extended shot counts and or increased power over the dismally small factory part. For my personal one I was going for the largest reasonable one as I don't mind stock butchering. When done testing, I'll remove the guage. I also made a press fit/epoxied titanium replacement for the power adjuster, NO issues with the factory one coming apart.
