I don't think anything could ever make a B3 look good, but they're probably the most rattle canned airgun out there.

When I was a teenager a family friend gave me an old B3 that was rusting away on their front porch and I was going to just paint it but I never got the chance to actually pick it up.
It's probably still rusting away on their front porch, but I don't even want it at this point or I'd ask.

My first project when getting into air guns was tearing down and going through a B3! 
Older, that had the adjustable rear sight clamped on the dovetail.
It turned out great and wish I still had it.
 The stock itself had no nail holes or filler anywhere,(came out nice) the piston seal was leather and salvageable.
 Got a kit and replaced the spring and breech seal, stoned the sear and it was good to go.
  A fun gun to tinker on!

Topped off the 22 brod and squared up the scope. Going to try to get it out to the garage today to shoot it over the chronograph and tune. I'm hoping for big numbers since everything is ported to the max.

I mounted a bipod on the Hatsan Flash-R today.  Normally I’m pathologically opposed to bipods, forward grips (sissy sticks), tactical lights, moderators and other useless bling.
KISS, that’s my motto.  But this is a gun that doesn’t just cry out for a bipod.  It throws a screaming hissy fit for one.  80% of the gun and all the heavy bits are in front of the trigger guard.  I’m down to one useable arm right now so a little assistance was required.  I broke down and bought a bipod.

On the upside the thing does actually work in a limited sort of way.  As long as there’s is a convenient flat surface to rest it on I’m sure it’s going to be very useful.

Glad you are using one with the Hatsan Flash though, Cap, considering the circumstances. 

Rocker1 once showed me an interesting rest,  it was a ball in the lap with an arm on it.  Was very cool looking,   Seemed well made with metal and leather.  Counld't justify it at the time.

After the bipod I switched scopes to a 3-9X40 Hawke Vantage on SportsMatch rings.  When I dry fitted everything the magazines fit with just a hair of clearance under the scope.  After I tightened everything down they didn't.    The weather was looking ominous and I had already scratched plans to chronograph test.  I decided to zero the scope with the NVD and the single shot tray.  I wanted to get the gun ready to pest Armadillo tonight and I didn't think I had any taller rings.  Well I just found a slightly taller pair of Simmons rings in the mount drawer and the sky has cleared some.  I'm thinking about re-mounting the scope on the Simmons rings so I can pest with the magazine in place.

 Messed around with the Snowpeak PR900W-Gen2 .177 today.

 Removed the stock rear sight and installed a Williams peep.

 I'm still cleaning the barrel on it. It's producing the darkest coal-black fouling I think I've ever seen, and loads of it.
I got the rifle from Krale a year or two ago and haven't really shot it much. If the barrel ever comes clean I'll check out the accuracy.

 I'm still cleaning the barrel on it. It's producing the darkest coal-black fouling I think I've ever seen, and loads of it.
I got the rifle from Krale a year or two ago and haven't really shot it much. If the barrel ever comes clean I'll check out the accuracy.

I cleaned my Crosman 362 barrel again at it came out nasty, looks better than it did, just now starting to settle in and shooting better. Really hope it improves a bit more.

Yesterday I modified the pic rail on the A2 sight on my bulldog allowing the front of the scope to be rotated around without taking the scope cap off. It has an adjustable parallax on the front and would hang up during adjustment. Then I made sure the scope was squared up on the silver brod and moved the scope back a little on the 357 armada. Then I ran the compressor topping off the 6.8 liter bottle. Maybe putz around today and top off the 9 liter bottle

Is that a brass brush wrapped with a patch?

Yes, but it's wore out from 22lr and now fits the Crosman barrel great.

Crosman barrels are pretty soft.

I would not personally use a bronze brush to clean one

 I'd been using a patchworm pull-through and Ballistol. Had to step up to Butch's Bore Shine and let it sit for 20 mins between swabbings.
It finally came clean.

 I swapped some stuff around...put the aluminum breech on Crosman 362.

 It would seem I have lost my extended probe (.22) that came with my Baker Aluminum Breech for Crosman.
  Wonder if they have replacements? Anyone else gone through this?
 Have sent Baker an inquiry.
 I do have a standard length for now...

got the Crosman custom sighted in fairly close tonight, 1" groups at 25' or better depending on ammo. Crosman copper dome was the most accurate of 4 ammos tested, which shocked me as I expected that their alloys would easily dominate. I have refrained from commenting on the popular walnut bits shown here, but I will say that they all needed modifications to fit properly. The grip screws were the best match I could find. The steel breech has been a dream, and I can't wait to upgrade it further.
