What airgun related did you do today?

I moved some Crosman Lego parts around, then I did some soul-searching about my current small pile of airguns and decided that in 4 days I'll know the fate of my company. 

If us shareholders vote YES, in about 4 to 5 months I'll likely be getting something kinda nice.  Maybe several airguns that are kinda nice.  So I had to hold off on buying something now because I'd end up selling or giving away in just a little while.  Still trying to figure out the exact realm of Kinda Nice, but it'll likely have a CZ barrel and an amazing trigger.

Waiting is for the birds!!!

Casted some .357 pellets for Prince Ronin. They are 92gr and 100gr from the NOE mold. Nice rainy day project.

I tested some slugs in a few of my rifles...  Verdict?  I think I'll stick with pellets! LOL!

Actually, the FX Hybrid and .25 gr H&N .217 slugs both shot well from the Crown and both had the Exact same POI!  I tried the FX Hybrids in my Dreamline and they were okay, but I had much tighter groups from the Crown.  I tried the H&N Slugs in my Hatsan NovaStar and AT-44, not so good out of either of those, but they performed quite well from the Marauder!

Since I have a Raptor Mini coming, I think I'll put away the slugs till it arrives and then make it my slug gun.  JSB Pellets shoot great from just about all my air rifles and they are much cheaper than slugs and get the job done for me!

I was contemplating getting a Sumatra in .22, and suddenly the doors weren't just blown open, the whole warehouse appeared.  Still want a .22 but now I have... Lots of options!

I watched way too many YouTube reviews/videos for the various EdGun and Vulcan PAR/PCPs.  I'd seen all of them multiple times already, but back then it was just fun.  Now it is to help ascertain a possible next purchase.

I like sidelevers and bolt-actions, but "charging handle" side-cockers like the Lelya 2.0, Matador R5M, and the Vulcans just makes wayyyyyy more sense to me.  Short and simple- it will be one of these.

Just got through mounting a scope on my new Texan .457. It came in yesterday and forgot to post about it. I'm excited to get it and got up this morn with a 500psi drop in pressure. Had a leak around the fill nipple, no problem. Scope mounted and now to bore sight but I'm sitting on pins and needles cause I don't have any lead to sling with it. I placed an order with NSA right after buying the Texan and got the email today they were shipped. So I will be watching the mailbox real close.
Oh, got to hand it to the folks at airforce, I placed the order around midnight Monday and they shipped on Tuesday and it arrived around 10am Wednesday. Great service!

PS: anybody got any zanax,(j/k) i'm gonna need it if they don't get here quick...

Just got through mounting a scope on my new Texan .457. It came in yesterday and forgot to post about it. I'm excited to get it and got up this morn with a 500psi drop in pressure. Had a leak around the fill nipple, no problem. Scope mounted and now to bore sight but I'm sitting on pins and needles cause I don't have any lead to sling with it. I placed an order with NSA right after buying the Texan and got the email today they were shipped. So I will be watching the mailbox real close.
Oh, got to hand it to the folks at airforce, I placed the order around midnight Monday and they shipped on Tuesday and it arrived around 10am Wednesday. Great service!

Lemme guess- are some feral piggies going to be introduced to NSA projectiles in the upcoming months?  If so, be sure to share the stories in the hunting gate.  Because feral pigs are made of pulled pork, bacon, and ham!

Sat here watching this for the second time and thought the rifle looks a lot like my newest but only shooting at 550fps at bottle caps 51 meters away.....

I replaced some o-rings in the Gauntlet, tested some Slugs in the Crown, swapped a scope onto the NovaStar and zeroed it, and added some bear deterrent to the Critter Cam. Over all a pretty productive day!

Peter, I tell ya, when that fedx truck showed up I guess I developed tunnel vision because everything else got put on the back burner for the rest of the day. That I guess is why I forgot to mention it here. But as for the piggies, if any happen to stray too close in front of my crosshairs there will be some pulled pork along the rest of it. 
Oh, and checked the tracking today for my ammo order and learned it has 4 more days before it arrives. After that I've almost been trying to find something around here to make some type of projectile that can be fired through it.....desperation!

Patience, my friend.  Patience!  I read there's a hidden rule you should always buy the ammo first then you can justify buying the gun to go with it.           

I made the mistake of watching the AEAC video of the Bushbuck again.  Of course that led to some Korean Big-Bore videos and wrapped up with more AirForce/Gunpower big-bore videos.  I'm trying really hard to avoid Big-Bore-Fever, so my focus has been redirected to the Leshiy and Lelya.

Except then I watch the EDGunLeshiy videos and along comes the Dirty-30 and Nasty 9s.   Something about a 580-ish FPS 9mm pellet smacking a seriously obese squirrel that just fills my heart with warmth.

Anyway, looking at the airguns I own and figuring out what's going bye-bye to make room for some future purchases.

I think I am about to that point, but I am not good at saying bye-bye. I do have a large collection of non-airgun stuff I need to get rid of though. I have 3 sheds and two 35 foot Semi trailers that have things neatly placed in them with isles, that "I may need someday", I use to remember all of what I had and exactly where it was and it was useful. Since my brain trauma and the resulting memory issues if I remember having it I usually don't know where it is, so I think I should just clear it out now. It has served me well and saved me thousands of dollars over the years,but without a perfect memory it's pretty frustrating and worthless IMO.

Received my 6.5" shroud extension, I'd bought off eBay, today.  Unscrewed the stock muzzle cap off the Bullboss' shroud. Screwed the new extension on. Phew, I am exhausted. 

This extension really threw off the POI, so it took awhile to dial it in.  Man, this gun is so quiet now!

Continued my rainy day project of casting ammo for the prince. I am glad that this Ataman is not pellet picky. The NOE molds have been a real pleasure to use and maintain. Now if the weather would cooperate, I would be a very happy camper.
