What airgun related did you do today?

Pested 3 tree rats.   2 of them from the same branch.   Dropped the first and almost before I could pull the side lever to cock and load another pellet, the second one was sitting in the exact same spot!

The third one was in another tree.

All were head shots and DRT @ 25 yards, Nova Freedom .177 ~730fps/~12fpe with CPUM 10.5.

set up the Tactacam 4.0 on my Brocock Contour.  just messing around the yard videoing things when i spotted these two squirrels in the oak tree 15 yards away.  the magazine for the gun was still inside so they got a pass.

Made a visit to Airguns of Arizona, had my tank filled and drooled over the cool guns and accessories they have for sale. Hope to get some shooting in before the weather gets too bad.

Casted some 92gr pellets for the Ataman, then  made my way to the post office to pick it up along with the DonnyFL Ronin. Spent the rest of the afternoon drooling, fondling, and reading the owners manual on it. Unfortunately I have to work this weekend, so any further groping will have to be done later.

Tried to mount new SWFA SS 20x42, but no joy.   Rings are too low if I want to use the flip up objective lens cap.   
Also, rings that came with scope don't use a "standard" hex/allen wrench.   They are nice quality rings, but a pain to mount.


Remounted and re-zeroed the cheap Hatsan scope.   All is well... (2, 3, 4.......)

Sold my Crosman 2100. Sold my PP700SA, but upon inspecting it to ship it. Noticed there was a defect in the barrel. So waiting on a replacement barrel.

 The center-line of that scope to the center-line of the barrel looks to be a full 4".
What range do you have it zero'ed at?

I think you could get away with some low rings. 

The stock rings sits a bit high, so I placed an order for a couple of different profile rings off Amazon just now. Free returns if they don't work out, but since they're on sale at $10 a set, I'll most likely keep them regardless.

0 at 30yd

Installed the new lower profile rings (.85"), but the power dial was not clearing the scope rail. I took a grinder to the rail and, now the large Center Point scope sits as low on this bullpup as you can get it.  Center of scope is now just under 2.5" to center of barrel. A significant reduction from the original 3.5".

Popped a few bb shots out of the Barra Cowboy 1866 this morning. Only had a few minutes before work. Looking forward to spending some time with it to make a full assessment. Love the looks of it but as of now, it's just a MSP bb gun.

Well... i tried again to get that unf adapter off the 2240. It wont budge even 1mm. Even tried whacking it on further, it still wouldnt budge a single mm. Oh well.

is the barrel off of the gun?

You need a hardwood board with a 7/16" hole drilled through it,and a secure padded vice.
Slip the barrel through the hole in the board, and then mount the end of the barrel in the padded vice.
if you can, warm up that adapter with a hair dryer.
The hardwood board will give you something to wail on!   Good luck! HTH

I commented herein why I was glad that I shot some frauleins Friday and Sunday afternoon when the temperature was a lot less windy and much warmer than the much cooler and windy  36° cooler temps today.
