recrowned the barrel on my skyhawk,

also smoothed out a small burr on the transfer port and polished the leade.

heading to a proper range in a few minutes to do some testing

I fully intend to get out to the shooting bench and enjoy some of this sunny 70* weather. I received my Caldwell Shooting Rest today and I'm itchin' to try it out. The grass needs cut but it'll need to wait another day.

I spent an hour on the phone with Don (nvreloader) just chatting about everything and anything! We even discussed air guns, so I guess that qualifies! What an interesting and great individual! It was certainly a pleasure chatting with him this evening!

I'd enjoy meeting many of you in person. As of yet I've only had the pleasure of having Scott (LongHunter) visit our home for a weekend. Someday I'll make it to a GTA gathering.

Today I am shooting the Gamo Fusion Elite, the Benjamin Trail NP2 SBD, the RWS 34 all in .177 cal, I setup the target at 20 yards, all with 5 shots group , from my desk using my elbows to act like a bipod , here is my observation :
all 3 rifles are within the dime size group, but the Gamo and the 34 their groups are tighter, the trail because of the trigger (adjusted to 3.5 lbs0 gave me couple flyers but not bad if I can master the trail's trigger I believe the accuracy will be improved. The RWS 34 is a joy to shoot ! the Gamo is good and the Trail NP2 needs master the trigger ! Over all I love all these 3 air rifle and they are all under $200 ( Gamo $99, RWS $178, Trail NP2 $77 )

I spent the evening with a Dremel and the old 392 stock, fitting it for the 2260 tube and trigger.
