I put my 2240 in the car.I'm moving.And I thought again about what to do with my Sheridan. I love it but, restoration is going to cost a pretty penny and frankly I think id'd enjoy shooting my Daisy 880 just as much as i would shooting a restored silverstreak.

I shot the modded 2240 a couple times and give 6 yr old grandson some training for his own as I am getting him one for his birthday. taught him about keeping safety on, never pointing it toward people or pets, and how to release and set the safety button. couple hours later he came to me and repeated everything I told him to the Letter.
After a few more times of him showing me correct safety procedures I have shown him, I will take him out back to plink at some cans.

Did some sorting and weighing pellets. AA 8.4 gr. and most were 4.50 & 4.51 with 4.51 about 75%. The tin shows 4.52 but not many of that size. I used the new PelletgageR size 4.51 and boy does that save time. I put about 35 on it at a time so that they would sit in the holes easier and it is well worth the cost because of the time saving. Now all I have to do is sling 'em down range.

Bought some assorted sized "Ice Cube Maker" tubing to reseal the 160 TP and at $0.09 cents a foot, I now have a lifetime supply

I need to take pictures but.... I didn't, took a few shots at some Starlings , they are thick in my Neighborhood. Sure Like my Ol Sheridan C-9! got it in a trade, resealed it and its been a good straight Shooter, after today I am thinking about scoping it as my eyes are not as good as they once was.

You ordered from pyramid air ? From them it is usually 3 days from pickup to here

Well, snow squall last night and wind is howling this morning... Brrrrr.
So today was the day. Took me 1 hour at a leisurely pace with a couple breaks to get it almost completely disassembled and cleaned. Now a trip to town for a grocery run, then I will put it back together.
I say "almost" because I need to get the stock mounting stud out without marring it with pliers in order to remove the valve. So, while I am in town, I will stop at the hardware store for a sacrificial nut to "double nut it" out.

I don't think this gun has EVER been apart.

Everything is cleaned, Mating surfaces are polished, and the reassembly has begun. I tried to be "sparing" with a light coating of the assembly lube, my lube of choice is Marvel Mystery Oil, but I believe this thing is going to hemorrhage lube when it is first shot!
That's all good by me, they were an "oil loss system" from day one!

I got my new stock from Wes, So I practiced with my broken one. I made a stop for the stock, so doesn't bash into the air res. I made the stock, lock up more solid. And I D&T a 3rd screw. So the folding stock is, rock solid.

I set our "big animal" trap every night with nothing in it, and every other morning a squirrel gets trapped(for the last month). I think its the same squirrel, pretty darn fatt, but they/it is letting me hand it peanuts through the cage and it takes it and stops twitching everywhere. Got a few bags of pistachios from work today because they are "expired/cant be sold". Il find out if the Squirrels like them tomorrow.

I did the trigger mod for my Winchester 1100ss,and replaced front sight with a muzzle brake.
