This last Fall my 2nd Var 160 developed a leak, would exhaust a cart as soon as pierced. I put it in the safe to rebuild this Winter in the off time. Well, snow squall last night and wind is howling this morning... Brrrrr. So today was the day. Took me 1 hour at a leisurely pace with a couple breaks to get it almost completely disassembled and cleaned. Now a trip to town for a grocery run, then I will put it back together. I say "almost" because I need to get the stock mounting stud out without marring it with pliers in order to remove the valve. So, while I am in town, I will stop at the hardware store for a sacrificial nut to "double nut it" out.I don't think this gun has EVER been apart. Two songs kept running through my mind....Foreigner's "Feels Like the First Time" and Julie Andrews singing "Getting to Know You"
