This past weekend we attended a regional silhouette Air rifle match, 47 shooters. Best score (not me) was by a young outstanding lad with a 170/180 over 3 60 shot matches.  Very fun match inside a chicken coop

That is very awesome to see… we sure do have chicken coops down here… I’d love to have one to turn into an indoor range.

   Installed one of the 3D printed moderators that TKO now has for various guns on his sister web site AirGunMods.com.  This one for 7/16" barrels like my 1322 with 12" barrel. It was $24.50 plus $2 if you want the ramp sight.  It is well made and does a great job on this pump gun that has a flat top valve/pump set up. I put regular TKOs on all my PCP and higher-powered guns and have not tried one of these on them.  I just noticed Mike was selling this last week and ordered one. It came in just three days after placing the order.

Before and middle pictures.  Tore down the SPA 800r to this point without looking at the Utube video.  The gun is incredibly simple and logical to work on.  At first I was a little salty that I needed to keep switching H2,H3,H2.5 but realized that's part of the idiot proofing for re-assembly.  Almost German of those Chinese....
Still to do;
Drill out barrel at TP to 4.0mm (to match new TP)
Trigger assemply polish job.
Watch the video and remove the valve for TR Robb stem swap
Re-assemble and chrono

The Hammer, Spring and guide are so well matched I don't see any mods a spring swap might not fit other than longer...may have to figure out shims if needed for tuning.

Looks great. I bought a similar one (different brand) for my 2240. How much does it quiet it down?

   Hi Jerry, it sounds about the same to my not so good ears as the regular TKO which I removed to use on another gun. It would be interesting to compare the two when I get time with my sound meter on this gun at 8 pumps.

I experimented with adding one of the extensions made for the 853 to the butt stock
of the Umarex APX for better more natural shoulder to trigger pull.

I think it will work just fine.
I'll have to attach it more securely with screws, but it works well.
I might even grind down the extension to match the butt stock profile better.

I went out back with the Sheridan E holstered on my hip and went around with a probe trying to find the Vole that's been digging tunnels.
I have a couple traps and a pack of giant destroyer smoke bombs, but I need to figure out the best hole to place them in first.

Rebuilt my Crosman 1377, valve was leaking.  Don't take long to disassemble, install a new valve, and re-assemble.  Still waiting on a cocking shoe for my R9, been in pieces since December 5th.  The cocking shoe ship date keeps getting pushed back, now due Mar. 18.

I started taking my Crosman MK2 apart.   The previous owner must have owned stock in an oil company.   I've never seen such an oily gun.    The first layer was like hardened cosmoline and a couple parts are not ready to come out.   I've got some PB Blaster working on it now.   We'll see if it loosens up in a couple days.   At least I don't have to worry about corrosion in there.   If I run into trouble I'll be researching here.

Today was dremel day.  First I  installed the 2x28x60mm hammer spring in the 30 caliber Challenger to get ready for SSS chrono testing.  While the stock was off I started rough inletting a repurposed MSR lower for possible weight reduction for Thik Girl.
Then in true secret squirrel society prospect mode holding the dremel caused me to realize why I had the SPA in pieces on the work bench so I completed the trigger assembly polish and reassembled.  Filled to 150bar to see if she holds over-nite as Thursday is late nite at LGR.
