Finished up my 3D printed sights for the Umarex Fusion 2. Made in black PETG. After seeing this, how can Umarex justify not having hard sights on this rifle?

Yep. In the 3D printing gate. It was originally just for the front sight, but it evolved into an entire sighting setup when I couldn't find a compatible rear sight.

 Been in plinker and tinker mode. Went over a few guns that I may want to grab and go with soon. Then realized it might be a good time to top off the 2 scuba tanks I depleted down to 2500 over  my days testing and top offs. Decided to put my tank T splitter back together, so I could top both tanks at once with my new Tuxing similar to Air venturis big unit in design and moisture control, after pressure testing and determining where the leaks were with my ultrasonic leak detector. I got it all sealed up, and in less than 20 minutes I had 2 topped off scuba tanks now tethered so I can turn on one to do the initial fill, or lower pressure fills, and then close that valve and open the other to get a full 3000 or close to it fill when needed.

I haven't run the Yong Heng in a month or so, been using the Vevor exclusively and jut filling guns directly in the Red Shed. It might be time to get in the utility room and clean out/refill the 5 gallon water supply bucket and top off some tanks. The 5 gallon bucket has a lid on it so it don't get changed very often.
None of my tanks are real low because I haven't been using them either. But they could all use a slight topping off. The greater purpose wold be to just cycle the Yong Heng a few times. Pretty sure it's not due for an oil change, I'll check my run sheet log.

yesterday i played a bit with the stormrider shot a couple strings pressed some slugs printed another AR grip for the bandit and spring guides with different preloads changed the reg now going to shot more strings

I made a better Benji/Sheridan valve puller using 1/2" threaded rod and a big wing nut..

I had a scare noticed a small oil puddle under my Tuxing, was the oil breather had loosened up, and just needed tightening,lost maybe a teaspoon.

Tossed the MKII compressor up on what remains of the work bench in the bar/mancave. I looked it over and it appears that the only thing I robbed from it was the temp gauge. I had one in the parts drawer and stuck it on.
For ha has I plugged it in and hit the on switch. It came right to life and I could feel air coming out of the whip. I didn't have a water supply rigged so I shut it off before it could build any temp.
I think I'm going to run some water and see what I have. Maybe it just needed a break for a year or so... I know, wishful thinking.
IIRC when Don and Paul were here that day it wouldn't build more than 2k and we heard some strange noise coming from the lower.
I didn't hear any strange noise this time but I didn't have it under any pressure either.
I guess it just may be worth a look see.
Today will be a NASCAR/drinking kinda day... the MKII will have to wait until tomorrow.
Not that it's needed but it would be nice to have it back in service for filling tanks when needed. I could put the YH back in storage as back up for the Vevor.

I connected water and a dead head to the fill whip, set the auto shut off to 3k and cranked the old girl up. She ran right to 3k and shut off. I did it 3 more times.
Then I set the ASO to 4k and pressed play. Again shut off at 4k. 2 more times to 4k.
With a 1 gallon water supply and the temp went to 30c max and stayed.
No weird noises or nothing.

That's a fancy compressor! I noticed the higher priced versions have some nice extras. The highest priced unit has built in water storage, but not sure if that's worth $600+

i know little about compressors and how reliable they are, tuxing seems to have local stock here sometimes of cheaper units, probably from returns etc

Same here. Compressors are expensive and it seems they fail regularly and often prematurely.  And the expense and aggravation of having to carry tanks to refill in the field.
