Took a few shots with my PP700 sans LDC at a CO2 cart I have hanging from a string outside my fence. 3 shots, 3 hits. That cartridge is almost folded in half now from an entire summer, fall, and now winter of abuse.

Took the carved Dan out yesterday for some organic meat hunting. 4 head shots, 4 cottontails down, nothing to write home about as all shots were within 10 yds. Temps out here are in the lower 50's. Sure feel sorry for you folks in the Midwest.

I've only seen one rabbit on my five acres in the last few years since a family of foxes moved in. Now that I have a .25 cal Gauntlet, I'm going to take those foxes out this spring!

Removed the annoying safety and cleaned up and dry lubed the trigger assembly on my .25 Air Speed. The trigger feels a touch smoother and breaks just a little crisper. It also seems to have tightened up the groups. I also unwound the magazines 1 rotation of tension on the feed springs along with slightly stretching the pellet retaining springs so that they are not a tight against the skirts when the pellet is being slammed into the breach by the bolt probe. I will probably get some test shots in today at 25 yards to see if the grouping is any better than the 1" groups that I was seeing before the cold set in

I spent some time fighting the good fight against eBay for their >insert LOTS of expletives< policies regarding a buyer in VA trying to purchase an airgun. Apparently the idiocracy that is eBay Selling Policies posit that CA laws determine if a seller in Pennsylvania or New York can or cannot sell to a buyer in VA.

It generally takes a lot to get me mad enough to curse in a phone conversation, but I'm pretty sure the manager's ears I was talking to probably melted clean off.

Went to baker air guns in Mount Victory, Ohio. I bought a tin of JSB 18.13gr .22 and @$%^ the shot. They had a lot of cool new and old stuff on the shelf to drool over.

Went to the OAk Ridge SportsMAN'S Association's indoor range and shot Olympic targets at 50feet against some pretty impressive hardware. A Feinwerkbau., Anschütz and FX.

Took out about 15 bb guns to make sure they shot ok, plus there'll be another 15 Benji's & Dan's ready for a family fun shoot in the backyard tomorrow, followed by a BBQ before the big game. Made up an unusual target range other than the standard bull sets, so everyone should have a good time.

Made a tool out of a washer , and removed and replaced a pump cup piston on the 2nd 760 toostie roll I have been working on. Pumps holds air shoots, but not quite there, guess I will have to go into the valve, and also take out some more slop in the pump linkage.

I cleaned the barrels of my new Norica Black Eagle and my used polished Norica Storm. Can’t shoot them yet. Too wet outside.

Looked at what parts I need to finish my Crosman pumper projects.

Made plans to squirrel hunt on my cousin's property, time thin out the herd and get out of the war zone around here. Just a change of scenery even if it's just a couple of hours. I also have a new little hunting buddy coming with me, an 8 week old lab mix, more lab than anything else. I missed having a squirrel retriever and decide to give a go again.

Finished up the trailer work today. The 600 Grizzly will be next on the list then I can get back to air gun stuff. I need to take advantage of the cooler weather for these physical intensive tasks.

That sounds like a whole lotta work, mixed with a bunch of wags, with a ton of good times. I have a Lab /Boxer mix and she is crazy as an outhouse rat.

Dogs are unconditional love and good for the soul.

Me, I put my Magnum Airpower Brass trigger in the Maxi and adjusted the two screw mod to accommodate.
