EDgun .22 or .25 slugs?
« on: July 21, 2018, 11:58:13 PM »
Hey Guys,
Anybody with an EDgun in .22 or .25 ever try any of Nicks slugs in their guns?
Iím a curious EDgun and Neilsens fan.
Thanks,
Terry

I have some 34.7 grain NSA slugs to try in my r5m .25 when it gets here. I would also love to hear from anyone with experience. I don't know where to begin to tune speed for grouping tight at longer distances.

Please report your findings, especially at 100yds or so. I'm planning on the R5M shooting slugs well enough to make me grab it for varmint hunting just as fast as I would my R5 .30 pellet rig. Might be a tough call. I'd love to match a barrel to Nick's 39 grain slugs. Send them out there at about 950 fps or so.  You will need to put in the Huma reg to do proper testing.
Cheers

My .22 R5M Long seemed to really love the NSA 23gr .217 diameter
