Picked up a RWS 48 at local gunshow

Got her for $200. Even had the original box and tools.
After I got home I found one problem. The safety is always on. After cocking the only way to fire is to push forward on the safety while pulling the trigger.
Hopefully it's just a trigger adjustment problem. Any ideas?
Thanks fellas. Pics tomorrow.

Check to see if the internal safty bar and spring are aligned properly, theirs nothing really in their to obstruct it, but which trigger is it a T01 or T05? the only thing that I think would cause it is the piston stem is snaging the spring or you have something in there like a piece metal off the spring or something like that.

Not sure how old the rifle is... in excellent condition on the outside. These Diana's are beauty's. The guy that sold it to me said he took in on a trade for a pb rifle. Said all he knew was they "took it out back and shot it and it went thru a tin can".
I'll take the stock off after work tomorrow and see what we've got. Thanks for the tips!

My eyes aren't that good but it looks like the manufacture date was 04 95. It has a T01 trigger so I guess that would be about right? Didn't have time to take her apart tonight to research the trigger/safety problem. Here's some pics. Pardon the background clutter...
