Oh Rick, now you’ve started something 😊Where did you get that beautiful cocking bolt you posted a pic of higher up the thread? I’m a tiny bit obsessed with all things stainless. Also, are there stainless bolt kits available? I’ll wait till my Donny FL arrives in a couple of days before posting pic of the gun scoped up, but I already know it’ll pale in comparison to your beauty....for now 😆Robbo
what's up with all the 1300kts? I haven't heard a peep from Crosman since ordered it on the 4th. So far all the ones I saw here are 2400kts.Quote from: robbo141 on July 19, 2018, 11:57:52 AMMy 2400kt arrived today. Double boxed, no visible damage that I can see. My first foray into CO2 power and can’t wait to test it out.How long till I start tinkering, I wonder? 😊Robbo

The 1300KTs might come in time for Christmas
I sent a note to Crosman asking about the situation with 1300kts. This is the reply:Thank you for contacting Crosman.Unfortunately I cannot give you an exact ship date, however it will be at minimum of 1 to 2 weeks more.Best Regards,Quote from: Rick67 on July 23, 2018, 06:22:12 PM Hey, I have one of those coming too. I almost forgot.I’m sure it will be worth the wait. I have some stuff coming from Mellon Air for it as well. Probably show up about the same time. G Good things come to those who wait The 1300KTs might come in time for Christmas

I really shouldn't complain - it's only been 3 weeks; although when you are waiting on a new toy every day feels like a month LOL! And the CCS is up front about build times being 3-6 weeks. Steve
Finally got my 2400 home. UPS gave me the runaround on delivery for a week. The breech had a scratch in the paint, not the end of the world. I made the mistake of ordering the pistol scope for the optic. Will be fine for another gun but not this one. No way to put it far enough forward on a carbine.lol Anyway put a Williams peep that I already had on it and took some shots. Shoots fine in 177 with a 24" barrel. Plenty quite. Decided to try the peep off of my Daisy 853. Nice fit with good eye relief but could not adjust low enough on the target. Bottomed out was still an inch high. Could probably build up the front sight, we'll see. Took off the peep and tried old faithful, Tasco 4x32 ($8 @ walmart). It was 1/2" high and 3 /4" to the right when mounted. I like the black on black look and if the light is strong it's right on target. I will run it over the chronograph hopefully over the weekend. Pat
Yep, a UTG 3-9x40 illuminated reticle scope. I’ve very little experience in zeroing scopes, but will do some digging. Won’t be long before I go for some nice stainless bits too. Make sure you post pics pls Rick. I get the feeling I’ll be wanting to tinker. 😊Robbo
