No, I don't think so. Even if I said my Veteran was more accurate, that doesn't mean they all are or yours will be. They are all accurate, or they dang well should be for what they cost! At the end of the day you have to just try them out and find what works for you, you know?

For what it is worth, as many (all?) owners have said, I love my Veteran Short .25, no flies on it whatsoever. It's my most reached for airgun as of typing this.

Same here, watched an interview (maybe the same one?) and he said most fans think he's an a-hole because he just doesn't like interacting with people. IMO the best drummer of all time, at least my favorite drummer of all time

Got the Vet. today and I'm impresses! I kinda knew I would be but it came to me from Will Piatt and he had it set to shoot the 33.95 Jsb's at 870fps. First impression was that the cocking was a little stiff and it had a bit of a crack to it when fired. I expected both of these things since it is a .25 pup.

This afternoon I swapped the lever over to the left side also backed the hammer spring off 1 turn and took a quick few shots over the chrony with Jsb 25.4's. Right around 920fps and the best part is it made the cocking VERY easy and dropped the noise level A LOT. If you ask me this gun is very quiet (for me and ldc isn't needed), I was shooting from inside through an open door also so it should be even quieter outside. Too hot to do much today (96 degrees) so I'll shoot more over the chrony this weekend and probably end up at 900fps with Jsb Kings. Also have an Atlas rail arriving tomorrow so I can fit my bi pod for some target practice.

Trigger is awesome but WAY too light for me, can anyone tell me how to add some weight to the second stage break?

Well, though my Vet is apples to oranges or Standard to Short as it is, and I have lowered my velocity to 650 fps with polymags (24.4fpe) currently I get around 50 or so shots on reg. Basically I try for a fill pressure around 235bar + or - 5bar. With the TATSU on the muzzle you can not hear it more than 25ft away, I'm set up for backyard pests (typical suburb setting) and it serves its intended purpose extremely well.

If I remember correctly it came new set at 885fps with JSB Kings from the factory, that was about 3 ten round mags before POI change. But due to limited space and slightly elevated sound signature I turned her down.

Mine is shooting around 880 fps, on a 250 bar fill I get 52 or so before a noticeable drop in poi.

Sadly he didn't though. He said he bought it from Tony, adjusted the hammer spring to shoot Jsb 34gr and shot maybe 1/2 tin of pellets through it thats all. Basically a new gun (and it looks the part

I was thinking that 880-890 was a good number. I will try it and see if I can get 4 mags filling to 230bar.
