WAR Magazines
« on: June 05, 2018, 12:19:01 AM »
Got a question about magazines for WAR air guns. How long of a pellet/bullet can fit in a magazine?Particularly a .22 caliber (if the lengths are caliber specific)? Also is there a difference in the Flex or WarP as far as the magazines are concerned?

Thanks,
Chris

Are they not Crosman Mags?

I donít think so. They do function like an Mrod mag though. They are longer I believe, but Iím trying to find out how long they are.  Someone correct me if Iím wrong.

I think they allow a .6" pellet/projectile, but hang on and I'll measure mine ;)

Mine is .52" best I can measure it.  I have a .25 mag but I think they are all the same.

WAR does make our own magazines.  During the early days at WAR we used a spacer on the Marauder mags.  That was a stop-gap measure and we ship OEM mags with all the guns now.

Can you still use Marauder magazines with a spacer?

Short answer is "Yes" as long as it's a .25 cal.  The .22 Mrod mags are for 7/16" dia barrels, so they don't work.  .30 cal from Crosman are kind of hard to find..;-)
