That's a truly unique pistol. I took a close look at it with Wes when he first acquired it. It's clearly a 102 repeater box, 'grafted' as someone above described it, onto a cast pot-metal pistol frame with some brass portions inserted. Looks like it should be a prototype except there's no way to charge it. Taking the grips off shows no CO2 chamber there, and a trigger bar in the path of any possible probe going up into the body tube. No opening in the tube front either. We thought it could be an unfinished home-built, or (maybe more likely) a Crosman 'concept prototype' of a repeating competitor to the Challenger Plainsman single-shot. Such a gun wouldn't have to function in order to be shown to the bosses in a marketing meeting. Mighty "dang" cool whatever it is.
